Duties to Be Performed:

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise cold-store operations to ensure that picking & packing activities are executed accurately and efficiently.

• ​Hold accountability for the NASIA profit center and associated revenue target of IATA Consulting while maintaining a 50% focus (approximately/indicatively) on contributing to the ASPAC revenue.
• ​Manage hiring, commercial partnerships, and travel budget of IATA Consulting in NASIA. Assist the same for ASPAC, in consultation with the IATA Consulting leadership.
• ​Guide and coach junior members of the team.

• ​On an ad-hoc basis, contribute to new product development initiatives led by other resources in IATA Consulting.

We would love to hear from you if

• You have a university degree (Master's level at a minimum) in air transport, economics or engineering.
• Approximately 15 years of total experience in air transport.
• A minimum of ten years of consulting experience required in a corporate environment, incl. management consultancies with a sectoral on-air transport, or airport engineering firms.
• Experience delivering aviation consulting projects in Asia seen as a plus.
• Fair understanding of relevant IATA standards such as IOSA, NDC, ADRM, LoS, etc.

Job Description

The Department of Chinese Studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is inviting applications for up to 3 fully funded postdoctoral fellows for 1 year for the Academic Year 2025-26. Postdoctoral fellows are chosen from a competitive selection process. They will spend one year with the department working on research for a book manuscript or articles. In addition, they are expected to deliver a seminar about their research during their fellowship and teach one course for the department. The one-year fellowship period is from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026, and the fellow is expected to reside in Singapore for the duration of the fellowship. The fellowship will be subject to all rules and regulations of the National University of Singapore.

The successful candidate will work with Prof. Mandar Chitre on the research on medium access control (MAC) under space-time coupling mesh-connected networks.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of medium access control (MAC) in mesh-connected underwater acoustic networks (UANs), focusing on space-time coupling characteristics.
• Investigate the impact of space-time coupling on MAC performance, including access capacity and network efficiency, in mesh-connected UANs.
• Design and optimize topology-shaping techniques for mesh-connected UANs to enhance network performance.
• Simulate and test the proposed algorithms and network designs to evaluate their effectiveness in improving access capacity and reducing interference.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to align research findings with practical applications in underwater resource development.
