A TYPICAL DAY

My day starts at 8am, although like my colleagues, I often arrive earlier to get set up for the day. I am teaching 4 out of a possible 5, 60 minute lessons today across different year groups. The school really supports me in thinking outside the box to creatively develop new and exciting learning opportunities in different learning environments. As it is the start of the year, I am really working hard to learn all the names, make a connection with every learner and build learning-focused relationships. At lunchtime I have a duty in the cafeteria and talk to the learners about their day. The teaching day finishes at 3.25pm and today I am running an after-school activity with technical lego in the Makerspace as this is a passion of mine! After I return the learners to the cafeteria to be picked up, I head back to my learning area to collaborate on some planning, complete some marking and check my emails. • Coordinate the sales activities between the Sales Team, with the Sales Program Manager, Sales Coordinator and Costing Team
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse & Logistics departments to ensure the production scheduling & on-time delivery
• Project planning and management on new turn-on projects
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in electronic manufacturing industry
• Knowledge in Box Build Assembly and System Integration
• Diploma/ Degree in Business Management
• Working experience in manufacturing preferably EMS or cable (Costing & managing customer expectation)
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Experience in using SAP, BAAN and etc
• Good knowledge in MS Excel (e.g. V-Look Up) will be an added advantage
• Must be a team player

(B) Essential Job Functions:

Quality

• Ensure work site is in compliance with Company’s OSHAS procedures and system.
• Conduct safety inspections, assessments and incident investigations & reporting.
• Coordinate emergency response to include scheduling, training and updating written programs.
• Monitor work site industrial hygiene.
• Spearhead safety programs at work site.
• Assist with safety program implementation to include: training, conducting routine plant & machinery inspection and safety committee participation.
• File and maintain safety records for inspections/auditing etc.

(C) Minimum Qualifications/Job Experience:

• Advance Certificate in WSH or Safety coordinator training course.
• 1 year relevant field experience.

• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence various stakeholders and build long term relationships.

(E) Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office.

(F) Physical Demand (if applicable):

• Able to work outdoor and climb ladders and stairs.

Responsibilities

• Able to co-ordinate and execute the operational work schedules and implementation of the Architectural work trade on site with sub-contractors, clients and Consultants to achieve target set.
• Liaise with the sub-contractors to ensure smooth progression and timely completion of quality works in accordance to schedule and all required regulations
• Site coordination and monitoring architectural work progress
• Able to prepare shop drawing for construction & As-built plan for submission

Requirements

• Possess recognized Nitec in Building (Architectural & BIM cert) / Diploma in Architecture & BIM cert from recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction industry.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative, willingness to learn and able to multi-task.
• Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
• Able to work independently, capability to do trouble-shooting
• Able to start work in short notice.
• Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied with
