THE ROLE – Business Development Manager

Hegen offers passionate and goal-oriented Business Development Manager the opportunity to develop and expand on new business accounts at Hegen. You believe in developing satisfaction by building awareness and relationships with stakeholders that believe in the purpose and value proposition of Hegen. You will drive corporate sales, business partnerships and build relationships by developing the Business Development Team at Hegen and proactively hunting for new opportunities to build B2B relationships and partnerships for Hegen.

Responsibilities:

• Strategically develop the Business Development and Partnerships roadmap for Hegen by understanding the corporate and B2B partners, including identifying new & potential relationships
• Develop standard proposal deck to promote Hegen’s products and services to potential partners
• Drive business growth, both in terms of greater brand awareness, market penetration and/or commercial sales, through acquiring new strategic brand partners or corporate partners
• Understand and co-create the partnership strategies, including a framework for partnership models between Hegen and other industry players across different categories and sectors
• Oversee the execution of the partnership in areas of marketing, fulfilment, finance, etc and improve operational efficiencies where applicable
• Manage and maintain a pipeline of potential partners/clients, reaching out and building good relations with all stakeholders
• Maintain a strong understanding of the brand and identify new opportunities in new channels or businesses
• Assess the performance of the partnerships or corporate business through the implementation of business growth-related metrics
• Monitor and evaluate market trends that would impact business growth strategies
• Drive and develop business dealings from its existing or potential clients in Singapore.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a business development/partnerships/corporate sales function
• Passionate about Hegen’s brand mission and promoting the brand to a wider community
• Go-getter/Hustler (ability to push through roadblocks to achieve set goals/targets)
• Strong business acumen, critical thinking and ability to formulate actionable insights and recommendations
• Strong experience in managing key stakeholders and partner onboarding

As a key member of the Consumer Division, this role is a commercial partner to the Editorial team, responsible for maximising subscriptions and revenue from specified publication(s). • Work through and with various functions in Consumer Division to ensure timely and quality execution of planned initiatives

Track and monitor publication health

• Build shared ownership of publication’s overall performance funnel
• Create publication dashboard for reporting, to align as single source of truth
• Ensure all initiatives are properly tracked for results across the entire performance funnel
• Actively monitor publication health, and proactively investigate and raise red flags where necessary

Drive continuous improvements

• Internal champion for said publication within CD, proactively contributing to technology enhancements and prioritisation
• Drive post-mortem analysis of initiatives, for the purpose of educating CD and Editorial teams
• Continuously optimise ongoing operations for increased scalability and/or accuracy
• Seek to understand unknowns through a variety of methods where relevant (e.g. A/B tests, user research, onground visits etc)

Explore new subscription/revenue streams

• Lead commercial analysis of new projects to assess commercial viabilities
• Contribute to project prioritisation within the Editorial team

Budget management

• Monitor and track marketing spend to ensure it remains within budget

RESPONSIBILITIES

To conduct maintenance activities so as to ensure high level of operability and reliability of M&E systems in Mediacorp Campus in support of all business functions.

Scope

• Coordination and integration aspects of electrical and mechanical systems, operations, and maintenance for critical and non-critical electrical & mechanical systems alike.
• Attend and resolve daily operational matters with regard to M&E systems and liaise with Estate Management for areas that required interface.

Responsibilites

• Ensure all monitoring system in good operating condition (error free) and feedback on all alarms and errors generated form BMS.

• Assist in all site construction activities and installations, in coordination with external contractors to ensure system design, installation and testing adhere to operational standards. Witness testing of all equipment during commissioning and validate sequence of operations and receipt of all operational documentation.
• Maintain compliance with local workplace safety & health (WSH) standards and local electrical and building codes.
• Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOP) and emergency response procedures (ERP) established for the critical environments, as well as the formal change control process.
