Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager you will be leading a team, managing transactional accounting functions such as payables, receivables, and stock accounting, including fixed asset management and sundry payables. You will also be assisting in resolving complex accounting issues, overseeing monthly intercompany billings, and following up on receivables. Other responsibilities will include prompt reconciliation of trade payables and inventory clearing accounts, conducting month-end activities and reconciliations, and preparing monthly reports including balance sheet schedules and cost center reports. Additionally you will be recommending changes to enhance accounting processes and procedures. Overview of the role

You will be accountable for business planning and commercial design finance for the region focused on Japan in Feminine Care business. You will take a lead to design mid / long term Japan Feminine Care business strategy and financial glidepath by collaborating with multi-functional team. You will manage short-term financial result delivery and financial reporting by providing explanation of variances and key performance drivers and consolidation of business results to senior management. You will own initiative financial design including new product design with innovation, pricing strategy, and promotion strategy. You will provide insightful analysis to support business unit leaders by identifying financial improvement opportunities.

Your team

This role reports to Finance Director and works closely with Marketing / Product Supply / Sales on financial planning, design work, and analysis.

• Demonstrate an ability to integrate the brand strategy, pricing, consumer position and profitability to recommend solutions to identify and deliver business growth opportunities.
• Seen as trusted finance manager to evaluate business issues, anticipant questions and demonstrate excellent analytical skills to optimize investment or handle risk.

Responsibilities of the role

• Provide financial leadership to key business partners in Regional Business Unit and Market Operations, across multi-functional teams.
• Lead financial analysis of initiative design, category plans, giving business recommendations to leaders.
• Lead in monthly regional financial forecast and support actual proofing.
• Lead in delivering high standards of stewardship in organisation and process workflow.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of proven track record in managing financial forecast and budget management across a matrix organization with high level of agility.
• Experience in market in North East Asia region (i.e. Japan)
• Japanese language fluency preferred
• Detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Maturity, integrity, and high level of discretion are required.
• Independent worker and analytical problem solver with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve problems.
• Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership.
• Financial modelling expertise a plus.
• Experience in consumer goods industry would be beneficial.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engages with clients to gather, organize and analyze points to improve and suggests solutions
• Have hearings from clients and visualize their ideas on presentation and reports
• Makes presentations and materials for clients business developments
• Promotes clients Digital Transformation of business processes
• Suggest digital solutions for current business model of clients
• Demonstrate presentation and sales activities both in English and Japanese
• Maintain relationship with clients for new business opportunities in the future

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3-4 years of working experience as IT Sales consultant
• Material creation practices using MS Office applications, especially Powerpoint
• Business level of Japanese language skills to communicates with customers in Japan and Japan HQ
• Customer-oriented person with excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated person with problem solving skills
• Person with the ability to listen carefully and explain in easy-to-understand way to clients

Responsible for providing administrative and client service support to Relationship Managers (RM) within the front office function servicing Private Banking clients.

Responsbilities:

• Provide administrative and client service support to Relationship Managers servicing Private Banking clients.
• Respond to all client enquiries and instructions and provide resolution to most issues and requests.
• Monitor transactions and activities in client accounts
• Maintain client data and reports, such as: contact lists, account numbers, facilities details, status of credit reviews/renewals, etc
• Handle administrative duties including scheduling of appointments, preparing correspondences, making travel arrangements, arranging meetings and receptions, producing presentation materials.
• Coordinate with Product Groups, Operations and other functional areas as necessary
• Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and policies at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in client servicing, operations or sales support within financial institutions
• Bachelor degree or diploma
• Strong understanding of financial products and services
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills
• Meticulous, strong attention to details
• Possess future oriented mindset, strive to innovate and adapt to changes
• Strong understanding of inter-dependencies within the team and able to collaborate effectively across departments
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and remain empathetic, passionate and resilient
