The Lead Quality Engineer will:

a) Cultivate a continual improvement culture and “design for quality” mindset within the project team.

b) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project processes comply with project specifications and Company requirements during the FEED and Execution Phases of the project.

c) Assist the Project Quality Manager in implementing the Project Quality Plan, which is developed by the Standards and Compliance section of the Project Management Office.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

1. Reception & Related Functions

• Answering incoming calls, direct, screen calls, taking and relaying messages

• Responsible for pantry items as well as refreshment items

Recruitment

• Assisting in recruitment process includes but not limited to preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, sourcing & screening application, arranging interview, etc
• Perform daily HR duties such as On-boarding/Off-boarding formalities, staff orientation, staff pass processing etc
• Process work pass application, cancellation, renewal for foreign workers through MOM website
• Preparation for manpower movement, confirmation, promotion, resignation, etc along with respective administration
• Prepare employment-related documents e.g., employment contract, letter, etc

Leave & Record Management

• To ensure all leaves are applied before employees goes on leave
• Responsible for claims of government grants such as maternity leave and childcare leave applications

Payroll

• Responsible for monthly processing payroll and reports
• Perform OT calculation, medical claim and any other claims

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Administration, or equivalent

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out inspection and repair of atmospheric storage tanks, spheres etc in compliance to API 653. The incumbent should be familiar with API 650 and have capability to review tank design and repair requirements.
• Develop inspection plan and schedule for tanks in collaboration with Operations & Maintenance departments
• Conduct planned inspections for tanks using various techniques such as MFL, UTG Crawler, AUT and crack detection techniques.
• Coordinate with NDT contractors on job scope needed to support inspection work requirements.
• Investigate, analyze and determine root-cause of any failure or inherent defect in equipment/piping so as to make recommendations for alleviating the condition or solving the problem.

• Degree Or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Possess API 653 certification, additional certification in API 510 and 570 would be desirable.
• Familiar with tank coatings and related inspection.
• At least 4 years' relevant experience in inspection of storage tanks and repair.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level positions and will receive relevant training to be successful in the role.
