The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is looking for highly motivated and experienced candidate to join us as Research Fellow. The candidate will support the program as research fellow to conduct and contribute to the development of next generation solar harvesting technology in the INSPIRASI programme, ensuring synergistic and collaborative research among the universities.

• Develop and implement wet-based fabrication techniques to create novel inorganic photoabsorbers based on computational recommendations

• Apply expertise in inorganic semiconductor synthesis and composite formulations, with a focus on optical applications

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with other researchers (including PhD students and research staff) to conduct research on the structure-property relationship of additive manufactured (AM) alloys under the supervision by Prof. Gao Huajian.

• Perform multiscale simulations (DFT, MD, FEM, Phase field model) to obtain fundamental understanding of the deformation mechanism of AM alloys and develop physics-based models for the verification and prediction of mechanical properties.
