We are looking for Food Science and Technology intern to join our R&D team. As a Food R&D intern, you would be involved in analyzing data and documentation filling to support the R&D teams. You will work with the Food Technology team to develop solutions at the product level while maintaining and enhancing the food quality.

Job Descriptions

• Assist in Product R&D projects trial.
• Conduct technical evaluation for new products samples produced in our R&D laboratory
• Assist in Packaging design especially technical contents involved (accuracy and compliance to country regulations).
• Conduct validation of shelf life or shelf life studies.
• Facilitate new R&D product sample preparations.
• Technical evaluation of new raw materials.
• Handle all filing of R & D documentations including Customer Requirement Files, Halal Certification file and support R&D/QA Manager in documents update relevant to R&D/QA systems.
• Update ISO/HACCP documents when changes occur
• Responsible for laboratory routine house-keeping program (5’S)
• Support QA/QC functions when needed e.g. issues investigation and report writing.
• Do other task assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Food Science or Food Technology
• Self-starter, results oriented, and able to multi-task.
• Must be forward-thinking.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Have great attention to detail and ability to keep detailed written records.
• Have strong communication skills including verbal and written (English).

- Support contract department teams with administrative support

- Communicate with office team members to convey any pertinent information

- Processes new project tender documents to update and maintain files and records

- Correspond to emails and attending to phone calls queries and provide needed information

- Update and maintain office policies and procedures

- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, etc.

- Manage housekeeping of all internal office matters and administrative works

- Sort and distribute mail and courier

- Other ad-hoc administrative duties when assigned

Requirements:

· Diploma in the fields of Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent

· High motivated, eager to learn and keen desire to contribute

· Preferable relevant construction - contract department's admin working experience

Job Scope:

• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, needs and budget constraints
• Create detailed floor plans and layouts that optimize the functionality
• Generate creative and unique design concepts that align with the client's vision and project objectives
• Present design ideas through mood boards, sketches, and renderings
• Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase
• Report to General Manager regarding the project design, progress, budget, cost and other issues
• Recommend furniture, lighting, and fixtures that complement the overall design concept and meet the client's requirements
• Coordinate with contractors, worker, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution
• Source and specify materials and furnishings from various suppliers
• Develop and manage project budgets, providing cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project-related expenses
• Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising design quality
• Using creativity to generate new concepts, plan spaces, create designs, and create building plans that can be manufactured
• Project management for renovation works including site supervision and project coordination
• Conduct site visit regularly and respond to all issue encountered
• Communicate design concepts effectively through presentations, using a variety of visual aids such as 2D and 3D renderings
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials through continuous learning and professional development

Job Requirement:

• At least Bachelors’ Degree in Interior Design or related field
• At least 5 years design working experience
• Able work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in design software and tools such as 3Dmax, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch up, 2D and 3D visualization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
• A team player who able to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
• Willingness to travel for site visits
• Willing to travel islandwide with own transportation arrangement
• Willing to work beyond office hours due to client needs or site visits
• Willing to take on new roles and work as the company grows
• 6 days work week
