Manage fixtures with care to avoid damages

Proper management of warehouse assets

Overview of the Role:

• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to overhead expenses
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on overhead expenditures, with variance analysis on actual expenditure against budgeted amounts/historical data and investigating variances as needed.
• Involve in Overhead budgeting process, prepare accurate forecasts and budgets for overhead expenses based on historical trends, market conditions, business objectives and information from various departments
• Prepare and submit all surveys from Government authorities (Department of Statistics, Enterprise Singapore, Monetary Authority of Singapore), within the specified deadline.
• Special focus on ensuring that the company’s accounting records are compliant with the requirements of the company’s membership of the Global Trader Programme (‘GTP’) and accurately reflect in the annual tax computation
• Liaison with and the ability to maintain a productive and professional relationship across various departments and around different colleagues handling different roles within the company, to ensure efficiency in daily work processes
• Stay updated in industry trends, regulatory changes to ensure compliance
• Communication with Geneva and US office for financial reporting guidance and sharing; and with external parties such as tax advisors
• Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required

Requirements:

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Equivalent (Bac + 3) with recognised professional accountancy qualification (e.g. Chartered Accountant or ACCA membership)
• Minimum 2 years’ of managing full set of financial records
• Good knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Power Query)
• Knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus
• Strong Excel and VBA proficiency is a must
