Roles and Responsibilities

• Stationed in the Central Sterile Supplies Department, you will be deployed to different stations- decontamination, assembly, inspecting, wrapping and sterilization of the dental instruments
• Clean and wash dental instruments
• Sort, assemble, protect, pack and label the dental instruments sets according to the checklist
• Perform validation and sterility tests
• Operating of washer (disinfector)/ steam sterilizer
• Document and verify sterilization loads
• Store and issue sterile instruments

Requirements

• Minimum PSLE and above
• Candidates with no prior experience but keen to learn are welcome to apply
• CSSD experience will be an advantage
• Comfortable with handling heavy loads/items up to 7-10kg
• Comfortable with staggered shift duties (730am-5pm) / (830am-6pm)

1. Proton and photon treatment system acceptance testing, commissioning, calibration and related work in compliance with national clinical and safety standards
2. Development, implementation of the Proton Beam Physics programme for proton and photon therapy machines and clinical workflow in accordance with national safety standards and guidelines

13. Develop, design and generate an optimal treatment plan under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist
14. Facilitating optimal treatment delivery, including plan discussions, technical support and troubleshooting of treatment plan.
15. Generation of approved treatment plan reports and performing plan checks to ensure safe transfer of treatment parameters to the treatment unit via the Proton Beam System (ARIA);
16. Contouring of discernible organs at risk and any relevant structures that may have dosimetry impact in the proton beam and dose distribution
17. Ensuring proper handling and orientation of volumetric patient image data on ARIA from computed tomography (CT) and other image data sets, including image registration;
18. Clinical presence onsite with the patient at the first treatment and assist with verification via regular re-CT for adaptive planning for subsequent treatments as necessary.

Education and Competencies required:

· Minimum a master degree in physics or equivalent qualification

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring the proper use of the patient immobilisation / repositioning system and fabricating or preparing them appropriately for proton therapy
• Performing the initial CT simulation of the patient and generating the imaging data appropriate for the ARIA system as part of treatment planning, under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist
• Implementing and delivering the treatment in accordance with the relevant proton therapy treatment plan and under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and the Medical Physicist
• Ensuring the patient is prepared for treatment
• Acquiring periodic verification images for review
• Performing periodic evaluation of the stability and ongoing reproducibility of the immobilisation and patient positioning system and reporting inconsistencies immediately to the Radiation Oncologist and the Medical Physicist.
• Explain treatment plans to the patient and answer questions about treatment following radiation oncologist.
• To operate the radiation therapy machine and other supportive equipment following the radiation safety protocol.
• Examine machines to make sure they are safe and working correctly.
• Check computer programs to make sure the machine will give the correct dose of radiation to the appropriate area of the patient's body.
• Monitor the patient to check for unusual reactions to the treatment.
• Keep detailed records of treatment.
• Any other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• License to practice radiation therapy

What you will be working on:

Singapore is looking for ways to reduce waste and improve food security. Both are accomplished by recycling food waste with black soldier flies (BSFs). By feeding on food waste, fly larvae convert organic matter into compost fertilizer which can be used for high-tech vegetable farming, and into protein-rich feed for fish, chicken and other livestock.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated lab technologist or research assistant to join our team. You will work with other research assistants to oversee the day-to-day operations of the BSF rearing facility and assist researchers and students with their projects. Applicants should be enthusiastic about environmental causes and food security, be comfortable handling insects and food waste, and be comfortable confronting and solving challenges independently.

This position involves working with fresh food waste/scraps, insect larvae and adult flies daily. On-the-job training is provided. Alongside your colleagues, you will be tasked with the following:

General Overview

[What you will be working on]

The Organisation Development and Planning Division (ODP) is responsible for driving long-term organisational effectiveness in MAS. Drawing from various disciplines and fields, ODP comprises dynamic individuals with competencies across culture and leadership development, change management and internal communications, behavioural sciences, and corporate planning. The division also serves as the Secretariat of the MAS Board and the Appeal Advisory Panel (AAP).

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the MAS Board, Appeal and Corporate Planning portfolios:

• Board secretariat:  Lead on, inter alia, organising the quarterly Board meetings, handling the appointments of Board members, and reviewing board governance policies and processes, such as code of conduct, remuneration and conflict of interest matters.

• AAP secretariat:  On appeals, any person aggrieved by an administrative decision by the MAS can appeal to the Minister-in-charge of MAS. In such cases, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire appeal administrative process, and will be required to liaise directly with various parties, including the Minister, the AAP members, both parties to the appeal and the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC).

• Corporate planning: Lead on organisation-wide projects that will require you to coordinate across departments in MAS. UWCSEA Dover is looking for a part-time Teacher of French from August 2024.

The appointee will teach a range of French (foreign language) classes from Beginner to Intermediate level across the Middle School and High School. The appointee needs to be able to teach a combination of IB Diploma French B classes along with French language classes in Grade 9 and 10.
