The Freight Manager plays a pivotal role as an integral member of the DFS Supply Chain, contributing significantly to the seamless and efficient flow of goods within the organization. The Singapore University of Technology and Design is looking for a candidate who will be involved in a research project on Geometry Modeling and Computational Design. This project aims to develop computational methods and tools for modeling and design of 3D tileable assemblies.

Responsibilities/expectations will include:

• Develop computational methods to model and design 3D tileable assemblies.
• Implement the computational methods by programming.
• Support principal investigator in writing technical papers and project reports.
• Support principal investigator in advising PhD students.

Skills and Qualifications:

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficient in programming with C/C++ or Python.
• Experience in computer graphics, geometry modeling, and/or computational design.
• Strong publication record in computer graphics.

Role and Responsibilities

Perform health monitoring of the DC M&E equipment.

Attend to users’ request related to DC FM

Assist with cabling works within the DC.

Monitor ticketing system and follow up on necessary actions.

Prepare risk register for vulnerabilities devices, inclusive of vulnerabilities assessment scanning.

Ensure all DC asset movement activities are updated.

Assist DC manager and Team lead in reporting generating.

Requirements:

· Required to be on 24 x 7 standby.

· Displays willingness to learn and is committed to providing service level excellence in everything that he / she does.

· Able to articulate effectively and work well within a team.

· Proficiency in Microsoft office.

· Comfortable with 12 hours shift.

• Assist the Operation Manager / Project Manager in coordinating site investigation project, planning of location, site clearances, scheduling.
• Obtaining land permission, utilities services clearances and meeting with stakeholders.
• Meeting and correspondence with Client on project timeline and requirement.
• Organizing of rigs & manpower resources for the site investigation work.

• Relevant degree/ diploma in Geology; Civil Engineering or the Built Environment.
• Familiar with Utilities Services Clearances procedure of various Agencies; and having RES/REO certificate is an advantage.

You will be providing effective administrative support to the Account Servicing team. You will be responsible for preparation of contracts, settlement reports and following-up on outstanding, uploading of advertisement, generate/tracking of reports, filing etc.

Core Responsibilities:

• Providing administrative support to the Account Servicing team
• Ensure that the contracts are prepared accurately, sent out and received in a timely manner to meet internal procedures and customer satisfaction
• Ensure that the settlement reports are prepared accurately in a timely manner to meet customer satisfaction
• Maintain a good filing system for all the contracts
• Upload advertisements onto the website and send out electronic email blasts timely and accurately
• Provide reminders to Account Servicing team on deadlines for the returning of contracts, settlement reports and submission of advertising material
• Prepare reports for the Account-Servicing team
• Any other duties assigned by Account-Servicing Manager

Job Specifications:

• Diploma in Business Administration
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
• Prior event handling experience will be an added advantage

• This is a 1 year contract role
