Project Introduction:

We are seeking an energetic research assistant interested in physical education, exercise, and mindfulness to join Mindful-HIITS, a research project exploring the impact of a school-based intervention on adolescent regulation and wellbeing.

Exercise and mindfulness training are both valuable interventions that can enhance cognitive function, emotion regulation, and well-being. Their low-cost, modifiable, and scalable nature, offer economical practices that can be adopted by schools to potentially enhance student learning. Some teachers in Singapore already utilize exercise or mindfulness with students in efforts to enhance learning and well-being; however, it is unclear how widely these practices are used, or if they are implemented effectively in local schools. Moreover, while there is ample evidence supporting the broad benefits of exercise and mindfulness separately, there is a dearth of research examining their combined effects on emotion regulation and wellbeing.

This research project aims to develop and test a school-based intervention to improve adolescents’ cognitive and affective functioning through a combination of exercise (high intensity interval training [HIIT]) and mindfulness practice that is tailored for secondary school students over several PE lessons. Acute and longer-term effects of the combined mindfulness and HIIT sessions (Mindful HIITS) on emotion regulation, wellbeing, and learning, will be studied using multimodal approaches involving self-report, neuroimaging (EEG), and physiological data collection in school environments. The successful applicant will help drive all aspects of the project and can receive training in mindfulness-based stress reduction practices alongside a wide range of research skills in order to collect, analyze, and interpret multimodal data related to mindfulness, physical exercise, and learning in adolescents.

Provide first level technical services to customers worldwide, including but not limited to hotline, email, WhatsApp and other communication methods. Job Description

1. Receive global customer inquiries and complaints, as the direct window of communication with customers need to complete the response to each inquiry and complaints follow-up until the user's problem is completely resolved.
2. Provide customers with the required product or service information, including price, specifications, use, etc.. Help customers solve problems encountered when using the product or service. If the problem cannot be solved directly, it will need to be referred to the appropriate technical support or other department.
3. Record accurately and completely in the system the content of each interaction with the customer, including the problems raised by the customer, the solutions provided, and the follow-up handling.
4. Adheres to the service procedures and standards set by the company to ensure that service is provided to the satisfaction of the customer. Continuously attend training to improve personal skills and keep abreast of new product or service information to ensure accurate information and quality service is provided.
5. Good communication skills, can be based on customer inquiries as well as complaints for in-depth communication as well as problem reduction. Facing customer complaints to maintain emotional stability and, as always, full communication, reduce customer negative emotions and into a solution.

Job Requirements

• Language skills: strong listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English, fluent in spoken English.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is desirable, as the candidate will need to effectively communicate and collaborate with our Chinese technical team on various cross-department projects.
• Good communication skills, know how to listen to customer problems and communicate with empathy.
• At least 3 years of experience in the customer service field.

• Familiar in various characterization techniques such as NMR, HPLC, MS etc especially for organometallic and transition metal species.
