As Public Area Attendant (Night), you’ll assist to ensure that the public areas meet the hotel’s standards for cleanliness and presentation – ensure high standards are met to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences. You will be placed on permanent night shift.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Liaise with Housekeeping Supervisor in relation to chemical usage, problems or rectification suggestions
• Refer major complaints to and complete tasks directed by Management
• Be aware of hotel information, special events and programs happening in the hotel to respond to guests needs at first point
• Ensure working knowledge of all hotel public areas and cleaning schedules completed in a routine and timely manner
• Operate equipment safely and sensibly
• Maintain stock levels and work aligned to business requirements
• Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems
• Respond to emergencies effectively and efficiently
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures
