Job Responsibilities

• Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
• Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors. Contracted work includes landscaping, HVAC, CRAC Unit, Chillers, UPs, Generators.
• Responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of annual shut down
• Responsible for the planning and execution of corrective/preventive maintenance programmers.
• Improving the efficiency on the operational processes, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
• Perform risk assessment and evaluate content of maintenance plans in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) including methods, maintenance frequencies, resources, spares and tools needed.
• Determine material, equipment, tools and spare parts to be used for maintenance jobs.
• Mentor and coach maintenance engineers and technicians.
• Liaise with government authorities on M&E initiatives for compliance.
• Review and recommend Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and propose changes for review.
• Assist on audit requirements.
• Any other tasks, when required by Facilities Manager.

Qualification / Knowledge and Skills Required

• Diploma / degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related studies.
• Around 3 years of experience in Banking, Data Center or Critical facilities.
• Working experience in clean room or critical environment preferred
• Strong Mechanical and Electrical knowledge and skills
• Must have good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.

• Develop system testing plans by analyzing product requirements and design specifications, and formulating strategic approaches to ensure effective testing.
• Create test coverage matrices, design test cases, and actively participate in the validation of software and products.
• Attend to customer issues, minimize test escapes and continually improve and expand test capabilities.
• Liaise with hardware and software team leaders and verification testing team and product stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic, Computer or IT Engineering
• At least 2 years of design to productionexperience in process and quality development flow such as CMMI, structured product development cycle.
• Good knowledge in IoT, wireless products, home automation products, office automation products.
• Proficient in Python programming.

Responsibilities

Pre-sales Support:

• Evaluate samples provided by customers and generate a comprehensive evaluation report.
• Include optic setup details such as field of view (FOV), camera specifications, and lighting types.
• Perform image analysis of defects using in-house imaging software.
• Provide comments on findings and propose potential solutions.
  Collaborate closely with the Product and Sales teams.

Pre-shipment Support:

• Create a vision configuration report with 2D CAD drawings.
• Develop system schematic diagrams using 2D CAD drawings.
• Generate 2D CAD drawings for trigger cables, strobe cables, and I/O interface cables.
• Prepare application notes and communication protocol documents in Microsoft Word.
• Install and set up Vision PC on semiconductor sorter and scanner machines.
• Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team.
  

Post-shipment Support:

• Act as a backup for service personnel in field troubleshooting of Vision PC.
• Provide phone and Team Viewer remote support.
• Collaborate closely with the Field Service team.
  

In-house Components Co-development Support (Occasionally):

• Evaluate camera sensor sensitivity and response time.
• Select appropriate light sources for specific applications and assess light intensity spreading.
• Optimize optical setups and select suitable optical components.
• Test new software releases in collaboration with the R&D team.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Physics or Optics Engineering with 2 years working experience
• Diploma holders in Mechatronics / Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics will also be considered
• Experience with 2D CAD drawing, optical design software, optical alignment and optical testing preferred
