A proactive and results-driven business development manager who will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships and identifying and driving opportunities for expanding our customer base. He/she must possess strong communication skills and a proven track record in account management and new customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
New Customer Acquisition:
· Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and beyond.
· Develop and implement strategies to attract and onboard new clients, meeting or exceeding acquisition targets.
Account Management:
· Develop and execute strategic account plans, aligning our products/services with client goals and objectives.
· Collaborate with clients to understand their expansion plans and position our offerings accordingly.
· Foster strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
· Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through regular communication and proactive engagement.
· Monitor and report on the performance of both existing accounts and new customer acquisition efforts.
· Provide insights and recommendations to improve acquisition strategies and enhance client satisfaction
Cross-Sell and Upsell Initiatives:
· Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
· Present compelling proposals that showcase the value of additional products/services to meet client needs.
· Lead Generation and Prospecting:
· Work closely with the OBUs sales team to generate leads and prospects within the existing account base.
· Leverage client relationships to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Experience
· Proven experience in account management and successful new customer acquisition.
· Strong understanding of lead generation, prospecting, and sales strategies.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding acquisition targets.
· Proficiency in English. As our presence in China is very strong, proficiency in Mandarin is also preferred.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree/diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 8 -10 years’ experience on sales & business development/account management
