Position

The School of Social Sciences (SOSS) invites applications for an Assistant Professor (Education Track) position in Sociology to begin in July 2025. The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses across several major areas of sociology.

We seek candidates with a demonstrated record of excellent teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in sociology. We are especially seeking a candidate able to teach an outstanding introductory undergraduate course in Sociology. Additionally, we would value the ability to contribute courses on Southeast Asia, Singaporean society, sustainability, community development, and Asian identities. Candidates should also have an established or developing track record of excellent research.

The research support is excellent, and salary and benefits are competitive. The standard teaching load is six units per year and undergraduate classes are capped at no more than 45 students.

• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day to day activities and decisions
• Implement collection strategies and key processes for the Collections Team
• Design and coordinate the implementation of systems requirements for collections, reporting requirements and ensure high levels of automation

Requirements:

Responsibilities:
