Account Executive (AR/AP, East, Office Hours, Up to $3300)

Salary: Up to $3300
Working Days: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm
Location: Tai Seng (Walking distance from MRT)

Job Scope:

Accounts Receivable

• Generating monthly cash flow statements
• Ensuring timely and accurate updating of sales invoices and customer payments on a daily basis.
• Preparing debtors aging reports
• Creating project-based Profit and Loss statements for specific clients
• Assisting in establishing, reviewing, and enhancing internal control processes within the finance department.
• Managing the Fixed Asset Register for all projects and participating in monthly closing activities, including accruals and journalization.

Accounts Payable

• Reviewing purchase invoices for proper documentation and obtaining approval from authorized personnel before processing payments.
• Generating a monthly cost forecast payment report in advance, ensuring adequate funds in bank accounts.
• Processing three-way P.O. matching invoices
• Prioritizing invoice payments based on cash discount potential and payment terms, processing various payment methods via bank tokens.
• Addressing vendor inquiries and reconciling supplier statements to resolve discrepancies.
• Assisting in month-end closing and quarterly GST filing, as well as monthly CPF preparation for employees.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and accepted accounting practices.
• Supporting Finance Manager/Accounts Manager in financial analysis, project costing, and budgetary reporting.
• Updating purchase and payment records, conducting monthly bank reconciliations, and managing petty cash claim.
  

Requirement:

• Diploma in Accounting or relevant studies
• With at least 2 years of experience in Accounting/Engineering/Manufacturing industry is preferred

• Compilation of quotations, comparison of quotes, review of prices, selection of competitive prices, and summarizing subcontractors, furniture materials, and equipment.
• Manage and source quotations, follow up with contractors, and analyze costs.
• Familiar with the evaluation of tender, preparation, and submission of tender & quotation.
• Carry out quantity take-off for tendering of projects.
• Ability to source supplies and sub-contractors for a quotation for tendering.
• Assist with the development of quotations on various projects.
• Assist in preparing cost plans and cost reports for the project assigned.
• Any other ad-hocs as assigned by management.
