Job Description:

• Conduct technical analysis and calculations to ensure system performance and safety.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for fabrication and installation.
• Conduct product testing and evaluation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting, system optimization, and maintenance recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in fire suppression technology.
• Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting system issues, conducting inspections, and recommending system upgrades or modifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during the development or manufacturing process.
• Test and evaluate prototypes to ensure functionality, safety, and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or product design, preferably in fire suppression or a related industry
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and/or Solidworks for creating engineering drawings
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards related to fire suppression systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanical components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Oversee the day to day operations and supervise all workers ensuring work procedures, quality, safety and hygiene requirements are adhered to. Work closely with the Operations Manager / Executive and Client in fulfilling ad hoc / urgent requirements and provide assistance in all necessary reporting / record keeping / urgent tasks required by the Client.

• Design and Develop Optical Interposer products for yield and performance.
• Drive yield enhancement and defect elimination on a variety of optical engine designs for Optical Interposer
• Perform data analysis, problem characterization, and fault isolation to determine the root cause of the problem
• Define problems by identifying failure modes, quantity of material affected, percent fallout, etc
• Responsible for monitoring, improving, recording, organizing, tracking and presenting the process for fab partners
• Implement checklists, guidelines, "lesson learnt" and history documents to capture and record all yield-improvement activities
• Yield maintenance and yield improvement on multiple products
• Yield analysis to provide yield loss correlation to electrical, optical and physical (placement) parameters
• Analysis of related failure analysis methodologies, such as electrical failure analysis and physical analysis

Requirments:

• Preferable experience with technical background in optoelectronics, optical components, and photonic device systems and sub-systems.
• Hands-on in semiconductor-based light-emitting optoelectronics is preferred.
• Possess strong data driven analytics and systematic problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of failure analysis methodologies.
• Programming and scripting skills and computational literacy, e.g. C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Octave, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Perform internal audits as per internal audit schedule in accordance to AS9100, and PART-21 Subpart G requirements OR AS9110C and P-145 requirements
• Manage the qualification and authorization of Technician, Inspector and Signatory (APU)/ Certifying Staff (ARU)
• Facilitate training management, by doing operator audits, manage operator certifications, stamp register control, product authorization matrix, and follow up of re-certification
• Support external audits, (Civil Aviation Authorities, customers and Certification bodies)
• Participate and contribute in Production Readiness Reviews
• Perform Product audits in accordance to applicable Definition Files and Manufacturing Inspection Files
• Facilitate and participate in Analysis and Decision committee / Material Review board, related to product nonconformity.
• Validate the qualification of new test equipment.

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Quality, Quality Management or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering or Equivalent
• Experienced in Avionics Workshop Maintenance Environment/ Electronics Workshop / Mechanical Workshop or production
• Experienced in Quality Auditing
• Experienced in Procedural and Process developments
• Knowledge in: AS9100D (APU), PART-21 Subpart G (APU), Or AS9110C (ARU) Or PART-145 (ARU)
