RESPONSIBILITIES

ROLE OVERVIEW

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Head of Executive Communications and Employee Engagement to position the company, its Company Group Chairman (CGC) and key members of the regional leadership team, and lead the design of a holistic employee engagement experience in the region. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the APAC MedTech narrative and communications platforms:

• Establish strategic annual plan for MedTech APAC leaders, identifying and targeting key communications platforms to build and enhance reputation

Introduction

Task/Job description

We are looking for a committed team player responsible for the coordination and development of science communication activities of the FRS and FHT programmes. You will work closely with the FRS and FHT Management team, as well as with researchers from SEC, ETH Zurich, and local partner institutions in Singapore.

Your responsibilities will include the following tasks (list not exhaustive):

Developing Science Communication Strategies

· Create comprehensive communication strategies for FRS and FHT aligned with the programme’s goals and objectives.

· Define key messages and positioning to effectively convey the programme’s brand identity to interested non-experts and the general public and increase visibility in the scientific community,

Media Relations

· Build and maintain relationships with key industry journalists, influencers, and media outlets (particularly scientific media) in close collaboration with SEC Communications

· Coordinate closely with SEC Communications when media inquiries need to be handled.

Content Creation

· Generate compelling and relevant content for the FRS and FHT, including, articles, impact stories, newsletters, reports and social media.

· Closely collaborate with our researchers and support them in all aspects of content creation.

What you will do

The Media and Science of Brand Growth Team sits within the APAC Growth Office and is intended to drive the application of the Science of Brand Growth (SoBG) in Pacific in addition to step-changing Kenvue’s marketing strategy and regional approach for media, content, and data, to enable measurable outcomes tied to marketing effectiveness beyond ROI and unlock marketing impact for the Kenvue regional P&L.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASK:

Manage and communicate Internal Communication in the area but not limited to:

• Internal Articles - Responsible for writing of article
• Intranet - Updating sharepoint on latest news and announcements
• Internal Events - Manage and facilitate both internal and external marketing communication events such as Kick-off, quarterly communication meetings and special cross-regional workshops
• Executive Messaging - drafting and edit of executive communications messages
• Develop campaign assets such as brochures, videos, newsletters and private events for subsidiaries in Asia Pacific
  Brand and Marketing Communications – Responsible to develop marketing strategy such as MRP (mid-range plan) and 1YP (1 year plan) with an effective budget control

Media and Public Relations

• Identifies brand and communication opportunities to profile Fujifilm brand in regionally especially in Singapore
• Build strong relationships with media, analysts, industry influencers and other external stakeholders
• Organise media interviews for top management either with/without support of PR agency
• Organize innovative storytelling across multiple products, solutions and services and manage multiple projects at the same time
• Development and Dissemination of Press Release - Localise and write press releases, collate, and prepare media list for dissemination, develop e-mail pitches for the media list, liaise with department PICs for dissemination, news wire dissemination and reporting on PR coverages
• Lead and manage media and public relations initiatives such media interviews, editorials, new product, new territory launch.
• Media Monitoring and Management
• Regular search on keywords and recent press release dissemination to find out if there have been any coverage or other relevant news for FBAP and FBSG.
• Media Coverage Reporting
• Report to Headquarters or related subsidiaries monthly coverage
• Media Relations & Public Relations Agency Management
• Work closely with Meltwater for quarterly social listening reports, vendors for ad-hoc PR activations and to build and maintain subsidiary media contacts.

Brand and Communications

• Manage FB and subsidiaries and govern Brand and Corporate Identity or brand consistency in Asia Pacific
• Plan and execute social media strategy and manage platforms in Facebook LinkedIn Initiatives through amplification of PR stories
• Develop social media posts and assets, which includes all creatives ( images, videos etc)
• Manage social calendar
• Work with various stakeholder to create or develop posts
• Manage and review design requests such as marketing collaterals.
• Line of Business support – Support consists of developing marketing assets, provide advisory, review brands and communications proposals, initiatives, plan and execute customer events etc

REQUIREMENTS:

• More than 10 years’ experience in regional brand and marketing communication
• University graduate with Mass Communication/Marketing degree
• Hands-on creative campaign/promotion execution skills
• Good written communication skills combined with the ability to competently liaise at all levels inside and outside the organization
• Good mediation and issues management skills to ensure all levels of marketing communicate, share information and cross promote wherever appropriate as opportunities arise
• Must be numerate with adequate analytical/spreadsheet skills to allow for budget tracking and reporting
• This is a hands on position, requiring the incumbent to undertake a variety of activities from conception to implementation.
• The ideal person would be adaptable to change and able to act on their own initiative
• Highly self-motivated, self-starter, well organized with good attention to detail
• Strong understanding of brand development, image protection, media placement and the importance of budgetary control to provide ‘best value’ returns.

Your Team

You will be part of an Organization Unit based in the Regional HQ (Singapore) and you will be working on APAC markets like Philippines and Thailand. You will report to an A&I Director in the Analytics & Insights function and work closely with Brand Management, Finance, Sales, R&D, and others, constantly exploring new opportunities for business growth.

Your role in A&I function is like an internal, active, and influential business strategy consultant, whose role it is to ensure that consumer and shopper analytics and insights are the foundations of our business strategy and execution.

Your key to success will be your ability to build on and combine soft skills with analytical skills, and use integrative thinking to convey research findings to drive actions with your key business partners across levels and functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop fundamental consumer, shopper and market understanding which forms the foundation of all product launches.
• Work closely with the multifunctional partners to develop winning strategies, communication, and marketing plans
• Leverage analytics and business sense to influence media strategy, drive effectiveness of media and trade spends.
• Use new technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), automation, external data, etc., to creatively to solve business problems.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree with up to 3 years of relevant experience in consulting, analytics, market research or FMCG industry.
• Background in any of these areas preferred: Analytics, Business Strategy, Consumer Behavior, Anthropology, Cognitive Psychology, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or quantitative social sciences.
• Strategic and integrative thinking ability with good data-led story telling skillset, which allows you to influence the business and drive actions.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within diverse organizations and teams.
• Passionate, creative and curious with strong observational and analytical skills. Proficiency in excel, Power BI and Statistical tools like JMP is preferred but not a prerequisite.
• Proficiency in Tagalog or Thai Language is a prerequisite as these are the key markets where we will deepdiving into.
