Social Media & Content Strategist
12 months fixed term contract
As the Social Media & Content Strategist, you'll be working with one of our clients - one of the largest video-sharing platforms with a growing community of video creators and consumers. You'll lead the design and execution of cutting-edge social campaigns and editorial programs. Collaborating with teams across multiple countries, including Japan, Korea, India, and Indonesia, you'll manage internal and external relationships, ensure effective content distribution, and oversee day-to-day operations and community management.Â
You'll have the chance to work on exciting projects that will make a real impact on our client’s audience while staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in social marketing. you'll play a key role in shaping our client’s growth and success, using your expertise to drive impactful decisions and strategies. While copywriting, content production, and community management will be part of your role, your primary focus will be on leveraging data to optimize performance and drive results.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the brand and has a deep knowledge of video-sharing platforms, APAC creators, artists and influencers, is well-versed in social media management and has strong project management skills.Â
Role:Â
- Develop and execute an innovative content strategy for APAC (India, Japan, Korea, Indonesia) that drives engagement and growth for our client
- Collaborate with local social marketing managers and vendors to optimize campaigns and editorial content
- Analyze campaign and content performance and provide data-driven insights and recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with digital best practices and industry trends to keep content fresh and relevant
- Develop and pitch new content ideas that align with social marketing objectives and key results
- Manage agency partners to ensure content assets are high-quality and strategic priorities are communicated effectively
- Oversee community management to ensure active and engaging social channels
- Play a key role in driving the growth and success of social marketing efforts across APAC.
You:
- 8+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Strategy and Community Management
- A passion for the video-sharing ecosystem, digital culture and current online social trends
- A strategic and creative thinker who is able to navigate around an always-on social landscape and roll with the changes in a dynamic environment
- Proficient understanding of social media analytics and experience with Sprinklr preferred
- Prior experience with communicating with local and geographically dispersed stakeholders to deliver clear instructions and messaging
- Solid project management experience and account management traits
- Passionate about working as part of a larger team to deliver on a common goal
- Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.
