Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related fields

Job Scope:

The Senior Project Engineer reports to the Project Manager/ Assistant Project Manager for project activities and ensures that proper engineering works are being carried out.

Responsibility

• Reviews contractual specifications, drawings and required design inputs to help establish list of engineering documents to be produced
• Briefs new project or engineering employees on work instructions and procedures relating to their jobs
• Is responsible for preparing project schedule plan for Project/Asst. Project Manager to help monitor the progress or project completion
• Ensures that all-engineering designs and project progress schedule is planned in accordance with the contractual requirements
• Ensures that all engineering designs, technical drawings and appropriate standards used are properly documented
• Ensures that project filing and technical manual compilation are in accordance with procedures and process control. Prepare and issue service report with customer's endorsement to the manager in-charge for verification
• Verifies Project Engineer's procurement in Material List and requests for relevant documents from suppliers
• Implements relevant forms to certify and ensure that all testing works are documented in project files
