• Provide technical and engineering leadership, and supports the development of new technologies within a local laboratory and be accountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers including sign-offs of quality control data as acceptable
• Be expected to obtain guidance in non-routine situation testing and have the ability to oversee standard and/or routine technical problem solving activities
• Interact with customers on technical issues and questions and provide Input and support on business development opportunities with new or existing customers
• Be confident in making both formal and informal presentations on conventional and/or routine testing to a wide range of stakeholders and assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers within the local laboratory and carry out crucial examination and implementation of testing concepts and data
• Utilize an assortment of skill, methods, procedures and materials in advanced testing analysis and be adept at drawing on internal knowledge as well as industry and/or academic resources in reaching testing conclusions

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor Degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ pertinent post degree engineering experience, or advanced academic/professional qualifications
• Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element’s business and working knowledge of laboratory safety
• In-depth understanding of testing concepts
• Can analyze and compiles testing data from the tests performed
• Possess strong computer skills

Service Desk Engineer (L2 skillset)

Brief Description:
Handling tickets and resolving EUC issues.

Job Description:

• Good knowledge of desktop support for both hardware and software
• Basic diagnosis and provide support to resolve issues related to M365, Active Directory, and Windows Operating System
• Single point of contact for end users to log incident and service requests via email and hotline
• Ensuring user queries or issues are captured and validated for further processing
• Co-ordinate with different support team (including vendor coordination) to ensure issue resolved with proper resolution recorded
• Follow SOP and Policy defined
• Escalates next level of technical support for incident resolution, as appropriate
• Monitors the progress and status of all open tickets toward incident resolution ad requests fulfilment
• Monitors and keeps customers/users informed of ticket status and updates at agreed intervals, till ticket closure
• Responsible to produce breaching and ageing reports for tickets logged by Service Desk
• Responsible for Call logging, Call Assignment, Incident Management & Coordination, Call Tracking and follow‐up till closure within agreed SLA

Requirements:

Job Description:

• Core function is to support technology related operations of the company.
• Information Systems, Networking and Security support in a virtualized environment including checking of batch jobs, scripts, scheduled tasks.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve system, network and security issues.
• Configure and install various network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPN etc.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Maintain IT infrastructure and network inventory.
• Maintaining clear documentation of the infrastructure, network, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• To support assessment of inspect-ability of features on CMM machine, develop CMM programs and instruct CMM measurement method through setup plans to CMM inspectors
• To support CMM Measurement System Analysis (MSA) study to RM13003 requirements and perform CMM inspection of repaired components for FAIR Form 3 documentation
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers and Inspectors to troubleshoot and interpret CMM measurement results.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers to document measurements and hence condition of components for reporting to OEM or for documentation of acceptance.
• Work with Development Engineers to introduce new process, product and capabilities
• Advise Engineers on design of tooling/fixtures/inspection gages required for CMM inspection on new and existing product.
• To support in automation of inspection process on CMM machine.
• Work with Engineers in automation and digitization Projects with OEM (Rolls Royce) and Research Institute (including but not limited to ARTC) to bring new technology into production
• To Support production in TV request measurement

Requirements

• Degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical/ Precision Engineering or similar field
• Familiarity with GD&T, PC-DMIS &/or MCOSMOS for CMM programming
• Working knowledge of drafting standards (), symbols, and nomenclature; functional knowledge of material masters and parts lists/BOM
