Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) preferred.

• Manage procurement activities for supplies and services related to the commodity
• Conduct competitive sourcing process, initiation of request, negotiation of commercial terms, preparation of analysis and recommendation of award

Job Requirements

• Degree/ Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalent discipline
• Minimum 1-4 years of work experience in hospitality, F&B, procurement, or similar role
• Possess time, task, and resource management skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
• Good analytical, negotiation, problem solving, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent proficiency with standard office applications, especially MS Word & MS Excel
• Motivated to learn, resilient and adaptable to fast pace environment
• Ariba knowledge would be an advantage
• Fluent in English verbally and written

Job Responsibilities

Sourcing

• Create and implement long term sourcing strategies, KPIs and provide leadership to team of category buyers for indirect services.
• In charge of responsible procurement and driving initiatives for the organisation
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders as well as strategic suppliers
• Build, mentor and guide team members to foster capabilities in delivering excellence in sourcing

System Implementation and Process Improvement

• Involved in design, build and deploy activities for S4HANA and Ariba S2P
• Build deep understanding of the business and strong relationships with stakeholders and collaborates with cross functional team in identifying and delivering business process and productivity improvements
• Development and implementation of initiatives to improve delivery and efficiency of procurement function

Job Requirements

• Degree from reputable institution with 10+ years of procurement, sourcing or supply chain experience.
• Experienced in implementing, supporting and using S4HANA and Ariba
• In-depth knowledge of indirect categories and CIPS / CPM / PMP / Lean Six Sigma certifications will be advantageous
• Resourceful and strong leader with good problem solving, communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in process excellence and project management with proven ability to drive improvements on procurement system, process enhancement and management of supply chain risk
• Strong negotiation skills, strategic mindset with hands-on attitude and uncompromised integrity & business ethics
• Excellent data and cost analysis skills as well as demonstrated experience in contract management and vendor management.

• Attached to IT Procurement department
• To front the Bank’s IT related purchases covering Projects, Data Centre Operations, BAU needs of Branches, Bank’s Offices and Employee office devices.
• To negotiate effective pricing & service levels with all suppliers to achieve savings at every point of purchase.
• Establish robust supplier base and supplies inventory to mitigate risks of servicing gaps arising from Non-stock and delays in vendor deliveries, which may affect the bank’s services as a whole.
• To conduct fair and transparent sourcing and selection of IT Vendors for Common and Standardized services and supplies
• Effective Vendor Management
• Ensure that all IT contracts bring the highest value and uphold the bank’s best interest at all times.
• Manage the central contract repository and establish the necessary operational processes & communication flows for timely contract review, revision, renewal and termination with all IT units.
• Engage and manage the performance of contracted IT suppliers and vendors to gain higher Service Levels at the least cost while sustaining amicable business relationship.
• Achieve yearly cost-savings through regular analysis of contract spending and recommend strategies for service re-pricing / re-packaging approach to optimize existing or new agreements.

This professional will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the quality of data used for spend analysis and reporting for our organization. Ensures quality of data by interpreting patterns and trends using digital tools and methods including data modeling and data mining. You will also conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine where we can improve, re-negotiating contracts with existing suppliers. You will have to spend time developing various approaches to procuring and contracting external support from the marketplace in line with current industry standards. Part of this involves researching suppliers and gathering information from vendor databases to support Category management leaders across the globe as part of decision-making process.
