• Proven expertise in asset servicing, specifically in corporate actions management across products (Securities, Mutual funds, Alternatives)

Grasshopper Asset Management, a subsidiary of Grasshopper, is expanding and seeking for experienced Senior HFT Trader or Portfolio Manager to join our team and help drive the success of our trading operations in Japan OSE / TSE, Singapore SGX, Malaysia Bursa, Thailand SET, or USA CME Futures, Australia ASX, Taiwan TWSE, India NSE / BSE.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute high-frequency /intraday trading strategies (with < 24h holding period) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Manage and optimize trading algorithms and systems, utilizing quantitative analysis to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
• Collaborate closely with our trading, research, and technology teams to develop and refine trading models and strategies
• Monitor market conditions and adjust trading strategies as necessary to stay ahead of changing trends and dynamics
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in risk management

Skills and Knowledge Required

• Professional experience in high-frequency trading or portfolio management, with a strong track record of success, with a P&L of > USD 2mil/year
• Own or operate successful alphas/strategies, and be willing to bring them over to Grasshopper
• Experience with index roll or index arb strats may be considered
• Deep knowledge of financial markets and trading technology, with experience trading in OSE, TSE, SGX, Bursa, SET, or CME. Additional markets of interest are ASX, TWSE, NSE/BSE.
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to use data and models to drive trading decisions
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex trading strategies and market insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing tailored marketing strategies for various business units to achieve their goals.
• Ensure timely briefing, production, and implementation of all advertising and promotional activities, including both above- and below-the-line campaigns, in-store marketing materials, price adjustments, and new product launches.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify key consumer segments, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Perform regular store visits to assess product display, track competitor activities, and gather insights from retail partners.
• Track and evaluate trade promotion effectiveness, analyzing ROI and recommending enhancements for future campaigns.
• Collaborate with creative and digital agencies on content updates for websites and social media, in-store visual merchandising, renovations, and ad hoc projects.
• Prepare various reports to support marketing initiatives.
• Provide support for additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in the consumer electronics industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a results-oriented approach, and excellent communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills and a passion for delivering projects on time.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
