7) Calibration

• Review calibration record and update the calibration record list.

We are seeking an Accounts Executive for our Singapore Office to support the Accounting Team. Candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects relating to the accounting functions to facilitate the closing of the full set of accounts (eg: GL, AP, AR, Bank reconciliation, Payroll & etc)

• Responsible for preparing month-end, quarter end and year-end closing schedules.

• Ensure inter-company transactions and balances are reconciled regularly.

• Review contracts & agreements, and follow-up with other counterparts.

• Prepare and ensure compliance with all tax filing requirement (GST, VAT & WHT) and ensure timely submission.

• Liaising with external auditors and tax agent on audit & tax requirements for the year-end statutory audit.

• Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.

• Handling any other ad-hoc duties or operational issues requiring finance involvement as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA.

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experiences.

Accounting and Reporting:

1. Review, ensure timely and accurate reporting of Malaysia entities accounts (including audit schedules, sales report, monthly analysis, budget etc.)

2. Assist to perform group and entities’ monthly 1st and 2nd closing into Jiu Qi system, and ad-hoc accounting reports.

3. Assist to meet the Group Chinese Reporting requirements and deadlines.

4. Assist in performing Annual Budget for Group and Entities.

Treasury Matters:

1. Assist the Group Corporate Treasury functions on daily basis.

2. Preparation of Group monthly Treasury report and HQ Jiu Qi treasury report.

3. Preparation of weekly cash balance report.

4. Preparation of monthly cashflow forecast for the Group and Entities.

5. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Accounting or full ACCA or related field.

2. Able to read and write report in Chinese for reporting to HQ is a must.

3. Possessing financial audit experience in an audit firm is an advantage.

4. Experience in treasury and reporting function is an advantage.

5. Strong hands-on experience in financial and management reporting.

6. Analytical skills in the development of data-driven reports are a plus.

7. Demonstrate ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Admissions Events:

• Coordinate with the Office of Admissions on the requirements of the admissions events
• Manage, organize and support activities and events in relations to CNYSP, such as NTU Open House, CNYSP Tea Party etc
• Liaise with vendors for marketing collaterals
• Attend to admission-related enquiries from the students

Outreach activities:

• Periodically review and enhance the outreach activities for tertiary education sector
