about the job

• Monitor BIM modelling and update BIM models consistently
• Content creation: such as parametric, formula, nested and type catalogues
• Work with all discipline vendors on content download and update to company’s standards
• Accurate model management and administration ensuring a health BIM database
• Manage and deliver appropriate visual (VDC) to support construction works
• Generate walkthrough animation for visual checking
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks or any other software
• Develop, collaborate in Building Information Modelling (BIM) to generate BIM Models
• Edit AutoCAD/ MicroStation 2D, engineering drawings for submission, adhering to established specifications, standards

skills & experience required

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience doing BIM for LTA / MRT / M&E Projects
• BCA certification will be a plus
• Able to complete a technical assessment prior to face to face interview
• Familiar with BIM, Revit MEP, AutoCad, Bentley and MS Office
• Ability to interpret and work with BIM 4D,5D,6D is desirable
• Able to commence immediately or with short notice period

• Strategic Planning: Develop and drive the execution the organization's strategic plan in collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Special Projects and Initiatives: Lead and manage special projects and initiatives that contribute to the organization's growth and innovation. This may include corporate finance exercises, mergers & acquisitions as well as other strategic endeavors.
• Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and benchmarking for internal and external benchmarking. Provide insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the key business operations and regularly monitor and evaluate the performance against benchmark. Provide timely reports to leadership with recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, CPA/ACCA or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (required to communicate with shareholders in China)
• With 6-8 years of proven related working experience in the area of business analysis, strategic planning and managing special projects.
• Experience in the manufacturing and commodities business would be a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies.
• Handle the preparation of board-level materials.
• Demonstrated experience in driving cross-functional collaboration and managing strategic initiatives, especially those that are time-sensitive.
• Strong modelling skills would be a plus.

Job Description

• Understand R&D Lab ecosystem and test requirements in NPI and manufacturing.
• Sell into broad NEMs, CM’s eco-systems comprising of Chip, components, and systems companies to address technologies in Fiber Optics, Optical transport, Switching and Routing.
• Understand the market and sell to the market and certain customer requirements.
• Sell into customers through direct sales as well as indirect sales via Channel Partners
• Taking a casual ‘ad-hoc’ relationship to the next level of true partnership.
• Sell into an account through a development life cycle rather than a casual ‘ad-hoc’ sell.
• Build a next level of true partnership for engaging a customer at all levels and at earlier stages of their roadmap development.
• Position Viavi’s Lab and Manufacturing products (Fiber optics, Ethernet/IP, L4+ testing) as a solution for the customers.
• Being proactive to learn new business trends/situation i.e. 800GE, client and coherent optics etc.
• Responsible for preparing quotations and updating Viavi’s internal sales forecasting tools.

Pre-requisites and Skills:

• Understanding of core underlying technologies including photonics, Ethernet/IP and OTN.
• Understand technologies primarily in 3 areas photonics, Transport networks and Switching/Routing.
• Understanding of the whole technology ecosystem related to photonics, materials, ICs, modules, IP/Software, NEMs, production & CMs, service providers & ICP accounts.
• Engineering background in above mentioned technologies would be a great plus.
• Willing to travel to US/EMEA 2-3 times a year for training, BU engagement, tradeshows.
• Ideal candidate with have experience with a Western technology company but have the right blend of Japanese and Western cultural styles.
• Good English skills – spoken and written.
• Good team player – able to build consensus yet able to work remotely under minimal direct oversight.

• Able to build trust from all Customers and Viavi internal teams for having long term business as successful ones.

Qualifications:
