Job Description

• Preparation of periodic accounting entries, payments and receipts
• Preparation of monthly/yearly GL closings
• Preparation of financial information for external audits and assist the team to correspond with external auditors to provide requested schedules and supporting
• Ensuring compliance to corporate and statutory guidelines
• Carry out and assume any other responsibilities or ad hoc duties as assigned

Responsible for full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL).

Process suppliers’ payments, verify documents (invoices / DO) are in order, prepare payment vouchers, and issue cheques and TT transactions.

Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including creditors/suppliers, inter-company, and bank.

Maintain fixed asset register, prepayment, loan, HP, and deferred income schedules. Provision of monthly expenses and asset tagging.

Perform daily sales reconciliation and liaise with outlet staff on any collection issues.

Prepare inter-company billings according to the company’s policy.

Prepare quarterly GST submission reports.

Liaise with external auditors on queries during financial year-end audits.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy / Partial ACCA
• Meticulous and able to handle fast workflow with high transaction volume, and tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-lookup, Pivot table, etc) is a must
• Good team player and problem-solving skills
• Good technical accounting knowledge
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse personels handling daily operation, including hiring, training and developing a team of personnels.
• Liaising closely with internal departments to fulfil customers’ orders on time and stock accuracy.
• Perform timely investigations for any inventory and shipment discrepancies by working with internal stakeholders, identifying the root cause/s and putting in effective preventive actions.
• Responsible for reviewing, up-keeping and updating of relevant procedures and documentation in a timely manner including provision of training.
• Oversee and maintain departmental procurement related activities.
• Perform system related testings, simulations and/or validations on a periodic basis.
• Perform any adhoc tasks and/or continuous improvement projects assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Preferably Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management
• Preferably with experiences of leading a team of 5 and above
• Preferably with knowledge in GSDP, GMP, ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO45001 etc
• Strong in SAP WM7 and Microsoft office applications
• Good language command, both spoken and written
• Good logical and analytical skills
• Meticulous, organized and possess good time management skills
• Good presentation and articulation skills
• Able to prioritize his/her work based on the activities
• Ability to work independently and raise to attention as and when required
• Ability to work and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining the database with updates in status changes, tax withholdings, deductions,Reimbursements, union matters etc
• Process final salary within the given date
• Declare CPF and income tax on time
• Produce payroll related reports to management on a monthly basis
• Identify and follow up on any information that is inconsistent or does not align with the job classification/title
• Maintain and manage payroll documents
• All other ad-hoc administrative duties
