Responsibilities:

• Manage the inter-departmental administrative structure, workflow, communications, physical and electronic filing and approval processes, office organization.

• Maintain a trace list of all licenses and major warranties and service agreements which is to be updated annually.
• Other ad-hoc assignments and assistance to the General Manager as needed.

A. Job Summary

You will work closely with the Cluster/Department Head and other Programme Managers within the team to educate, equip, engage and empower caregivers of persons with mental health issues by providing training and emotional support.

B. Responsibilities

• Conduct and facilitate the Caregivers to Caregivers Education Programme (C2C).
• Meet the needs of caregivers through providing information and referral services, and emotional support if necessary.
• Promote awareness of Caregivers Alliance Limited’s (CAL) programmes and services offered.
• Support outreach and partnership efforts with assigned hospitals and other organisations through outreach events and other engagement activities to raise awareness of mental health, caregiving and CAL’s programmes and services.
• Network and build relationships with the assigned hospitals and other assigned organisations to explore opportunities for collaboration and connect with other caregivers to promote CAL’s programmes.
• Ensure timely and accurate data and record entries in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in support of data analysis and management reporting.

Today, more than 6 million children and adults with intellectual disabilities participate in over 100,000 games and competitions in over 190 countries. Special Olympics International (SOI) leads this work through offices in 7 locations around the world. The Asia Pacific Regional Office is located in Singapore and is responsible for 35 countries spanning Afghanistan, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Japan and the Pacific region.

Position Summary:

As a member of staff with Special Olympics Asia Pacific, your role as Senior Manager, Sports & Competitions is to establish good quality sports programmes for people with intellectual disabilities across the Asia Pacific region through Special Olympics country programs. You will need to build a working knowledge of sports delivery as it relates to our 35 country programs and support the design and delivery of activities, events, partnerships, and projects that allow Special Olympics and disability sport to flourish in each country. The position of Senior Manager, Sports - Asia Pacific is full-time and required to pursue the 2024-2030 strategic plan with oversight of 4 distinct areas of Sports development and delivery for the Asia Pacific region:

Coach Development

Sports Partnerships

Competition Management

Internal Controls, Policies and Standard Operational Procedures
