The Associate Director in the Strategic Relations business unit plays a crucial role in representing the school in senior engagement and relationship management. Applications are invited for a Research Fellow position in the Centre for International Law (CIL), National University of Singapore. This is a one-year contractual position offered in connection with CIL’s expansion of its programme on Public International Law. The objective of the positions is to develop the research capabilities and knowledge of junior scholars by immersing them in a dynamic and supportive research environment where they can enhance their understanding of different areas of Public International Law.

The duties of the incumbent will involve:

1. Engaging in research and writing on different areas of Public International Law;

2. Assisting in preparation of the curriculum, reading materials and administration of the CIL Academy of International Law;

3. Assisting in preparation of the annual international law year in review conference, as well as other seminars and workshops;

4. Publishing at least a journal paper on a topic approved by the Head of the programme by the end of the appointment term;

5. Assisting the CIL Director in developing projects as well as seminars and conferences.
