Position Overview:

Robotic & Digital Lead will play a pivotal role in the introduction and advancement of Robotic and Digital Solutions in the Orthopaedic Business of Johnson & Johnson MedTech across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region.

This position demands a strategic thinker with strong execution capability, responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle from launch to market success of Robotic and Digital solutions across Knee, Hip, Trauma and Spine surgery. The APAC Business Technology Team within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, is looking for an extraordinary GenAI and Machine Learning Engineering Lead who is passionate about crafting, developing, and fielding data science solutions that drive impact for HCP (Health Care Professional) and patients.

As the regional Gen AI and Machine Learning engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building GenAI and machine learning engineering solutions across the region. You will leverage your technical expertise, experience, and communication skills to work across business & technology teams productionize innovative data science models and applications. Your technical knowledge and ability to apply them, will be paramount to your success in this role. Focus areas include (but not limited) to patient analytics, commercial strategy, and patient support program analytics. Specifically, you will build end-to-end machine learning pipelines by developing and applying creative solutions that go beyond current tools and work together with data scientist to deliver scalable, reusable, extensible and flexible solution.

• Deliver end to end GenAI and machine learning applications for our key projects across the region.
• Execute the regional GenAI strategy including people, technology, platforms, and process.
• Collaborate with platform teams and solution architect to evolve our big data platforms and evaluate various data science technologies and services.
• Clearly articulate highly technical methods and results to diverse audiences and partners to drive decision-making.

The role requires both a broad knowledge of existing software development lifecycle, AI algorithms and the creativity to invent and customize when necessary. You will work with matrixed teams across business and technology, and will be part of a dynamic, accomplished organization that will support multiple therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

GenAI Solution Architecture Design and Implementation

• Lead a team of AI engineers, and DevOps specialists to design, develop, and optimize Generative AI architectures tailored to specific use cases and business requirements.
• Collaborate with data scientist to drive the end-to-end implementation of GenAI models, including training, fine-tuning, and deployment.

Prompt Engineering

• Collaborate with data scientists to create and refine prompts for various AI applications
• Develop advanced prompt engineering techniques to enhance the performance and accuracy of GenAI models.

Machine Learning Solution build and deployment:

• Collaborate with data scientist and other technology teams to design and build machine learning engineering solution for the region.
• Establish and maintain ML pipelines to automate the training, testing, and deployment of AI models.
• Implement CI/CD practices to ensure continuous integration and delivery of AI solutions.
• Monitor and manage the lifecycle of deployed models, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.

Cloud AI Solutions (AWS and Azure):

• Architect and implement scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Utilize cloud services to manage and deploy AI models, ensuring high availability and performance.

Research and Innovation:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, cloud technologies, and MLOps practices, and bring them to the team.
• Drive innovation by exploring new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve AI capabilities and efficiencies.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree

Required Years of Related Experience: Minimum of 7 years professional experience is required with a minimum of 5 years building machine learning model development is preferred

• Proven track record in designing and building GenAI solutions, with a strong expertise in prompt engineering, LlamaIndex, Langchain, RAG, AI red teaming libraries, LLM monitoring and evaluation.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Machine learning engineering and MLOps, developing end-to-end machine learning pipelines. Must have a proven ability to take solutions to production, while effectively monitoring and maintaining them.
• Over 7+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle as a developer, with a focus on writing production code.
• Must have hands-on experience working with software development toolkits, and devOps automation like Kubernetes, Airflow, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence and Git.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and proficiency in PySpark.
• Experience in DataBricks, AWS Sagemaker and Azure ML is plus.
• Strong leadership skill with ability to influence the thought process and drive alignment.
• Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and highly driven individual who can thrive in ambiguous requirements.

Purpose:

To independently define concepts and critical deliverables, lead, plan, manage, control, engineering deliverables required for the assigned project effectively and efficiently according to specified technical requirements, timelines and budget, manage project resources and independently deal with and resolve all issues of the project, and provide guidance to the assigned team.

Responsibilities:

• Understands the specific specifications and requirements of the assigned project and Industry Standard, Classification Society and Regulatory requirements.
• Plans and directs the running of process simulation software, prepares design calculation, performs simulation studies, and reviews the datasheets prepared by Engineers and reviewed by Senior Engineers. Where necessary, directs/prepares/conducts simulation studies
• Directs Engineers and Senior Engineers in the team to develop engineering specifications (drawings, data sheets etc.) specific to the assigned project, reviews them and validates with the Project Manager and client before incorporating them in the RFQs.
• Independently evaluates all the bids received for process and utility packages from various suppliers, performs a technical bid evaluation process, involves in cost estimation, ensures selected vendors meet technical/engineering and delivery requirements as stipulated in the project specifications and gives assessment to the Buyer who will follow up in the tender evaluation, price negotiation and award process.
• Reviews/checks draft drawings and documents from team members and ensure the timely provision of accurate documents and specifications to the successful vendors to enable the latter to execute their work and deliverables.
• Independently manages/develops solutions to technical/engineering and related problems by analyzing the issues/data, interpreting the analysis and evaluating various options/measures using experience, precedents and professional references. Anticipates potential problems and takes preventive actions to overcome obstacles
• Visits suppliers, reviews test results of process equipment to ensure that they function as per specifications. Where necessary, works with the suppliers/contractors concerned to rectify the deficiencies making sure that they comply with the specifications and are ready on time.
• Participates in meetings, reviews progress and addresses interface/implementation/execution issues, escalates where necessary to ensure that the project proceeds timely and smoothly.
• Plans and organizes resources and schedule to meet project timelines and departmental objectives
• Provides technical/engineering support and advice to Construction/Commissioning work at site, trouble shoots and follows up with stakeholders to rectify the gaps or problems. Where necessary, provides off‐site support and advice.
• Guides/supervises junior Engineers and appraises their performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience in process engineering in oil and gas sector for degree holders or minimum of 11 years of relevant working experience for Master degree holder
• Direct work experience on FPSO/FSO projects and
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in Shipyard.
• Must be conversant of applicable industry standards, Company standards, specifications and procedures for his/her functional area.

Job Description

• Plan, deliver and execute technical activities to provides services directly and indirectly to Nokia internal and external customers.
• Responsible for design, planning and optimization of Nokia Products 4G & 5G planning, optimization, and acceptance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in 3G/4G and 2 years in 5G Network Planning and Optimization
• Ability to work typically in several technology areas with intermediate to advanced skill level or with one technology area at an advanced skill level. Task scope includes and not limited to: -
• Ability to coach others on NPO technical both design and Optimization.
• Network design / Optimization /Trial features on latest SW/HW release i.e. 23R3 or 24R1
• Ability to present the NPO technical part to customer management level i.e customer CTO.
• Ability to lead and solve NPO technical issues related to KPI analysis.
• Advanced network and/or service optimization
• Strong 4G/5G NPO technical knowledge and able to direct communication with R&D for issues of KPI for new feature and SW will be preferred.
