The role of Programmes Manager is one that contributes to the strategic development of Aidha’s programme offerings. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Formulate and implement strategies/action plans for forging partnerships with universities undertaking research and analysis of markets and universities, as well as trends and developments in the international education environment to identify opportunities for the SMU community, focusing on university partnerships.
• Advise and support management in SMU's external engagements, including managing incoming visits by partners/higher education institutes and staffing SMU principals for outgoing missions.
• Formulate, implement and evaluate strategies/action plans to raise awareness and build reputation for SMU within the global university community.
• Develop assessment frameworks and other rubrics to inform IO's strategic engagement plans.

• Post-graduate qualifications or Bachelor Degree in International Relations, International Marketing or fields of study with a global-orientation.
• 6 years experience in the international education sector or working on cross-cultural exchanges at the people-to-people level, or in similar field of work.
• Proven high level skill in partner and project/event management working with diverse teams and across cultures to achieve objectives, as well as in business development, analysis and cultural appreciation of foreign countries/markets.
• Experience in growing and developing partnerships in the Americas, Europe and Asia, and/or background in data analysis and assessment would be considered favourably.

• High level of written and oral communication skills.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail and keen appreciation of good documentation.

What We Are Looking For

The Design Project Manager (DPM) is instrumental in overseeing the development and execution of precision component design projects, from mold design conception to completion. This role requires a blend of design expertise, project management skills, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the final product meets client specifications and aligns with business objectives. The DPM will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) documentation, managing project timelines, resources, and budgets, and facilitating effective communication among cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through production, ensuring the product aligns with client specifications and business objectives.
• Oversee Design for Manufacturing (DFM) preparation and review, working closely with customers to secure approvals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure the development of high-quality precision components.
• Coordinate with overseas teams to manage project timelines and deliver results on time, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
• Manage project resources, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely project completion.
• Supervise precision toolmaking processes and ensure that high-quality Molds are designed and manufactured to meet stringent specifications.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring project transparency and alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Engineering or relevant polytechnic qualification; experience in design will also be considered.
• Experience: 12-15 years of experience in core design, product development, and industrialization.
• Tools: Strong skills in NX CAD and proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Good to Have: Education in Project Management and proficiency in project management tools.

Key Competencies

• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in NX Mold design and the ability to create precise, efficient mold designs.
• DFM Proficiency: Skilled in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) preparation and review using MS Office tools to ensure manufacturability and alignment with client requirements.
• Processing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of injection Molding, rubber compression, MIM, and LSR Molding processes.
• Moldflow Analysis: Competent in Moldflow simulation to predict and resolve potential manufacturing issues early in the design phase.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to analyse design and production challenges, ensuring precision and quality in final products.
• Time Management: Capable of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring that every aspect of the project aligns with quality standards and client specifications.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Travel : Able to travel globally across our plants for projects & for customer meetings.

• Work with the different stakeholders to develop the strategic priorities and work plan for upcoming programmes
• Coordinate and prepare the Centre’s annual work plan and financial budget in discussion with the relevant clinician leads and operations team
• Organise clinical, operational and financial data for regular reporting at department
• Coordinate department's meeting and handle minutes writing
• Manage the office seating plan for the Centre with assistance of the administration team
• Any ad hoc duties as per assigned
