Job Responsibilities
- Assists in running an efficient and profitable operation of the cafe, including both Kitchen and Front of House Duties
- Enforces all procedures in the absence of the manager, and coordinates as necessary with the Management.
- Responsible for ensuring that the store meets Company standards in sales, staffing, product quality, visual merchandising, and operations.
– Assists in manage ordering and obtaining supplies, monitor and complete daily inventories of F&B supplies
- Full knowledge of maintaining standards about the cafe, service, and product knowledge
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, health and safety legislation, organisational and quality requirements, and working policies and procedures are maintained and comply
- Assists with the goal of providing customers with excellent, quality, fast, and friendly service.
- Manage the training of front house, display good quality control of team members, to have significant product knowledge and demonstrate positive, friendly and courteous customer service, as well as be able to demonstrate a commitment to company's policy.
- Ability to assign and delegate duties among staffs, and manage staff discipline and performance issues subject to the guidance of the Manager
- Understand food preparation and cooking and the “ingredients” of food and beverage and train the team to confidently deal with customer queries, etc
– Manage customers’ expectations and assist in dealing and resolving all queries
- Perform day to day pre-opening and closing activities as per SOPs
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in F&B, preferably with managerial experience
- Excellent service attitude, outgoing personality, and able to work in a high-volume environment with the team
- Passionate, motivated & energetic individuals that are willing to learn, grow and exchange their experiences within team
- Willing to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Good command of spoken English, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Salary will commensurate with experience
