Role:IT Infrastructure Engineer (Network)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
IT Infrastructure Operations
· Provide network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, life cycle management and related documentation.
· Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure.
· Take "ownership" for all network related issues and resolve in a timely manner.
· Manage and ensure effectiveness of servers, including Radius, Print, SmartRoom, and their associated operating systems and software. This includes update of patches and reboot of servers regularly.
· Administration of user accounts, permissions, access rights and troubleshoot on accounts related issue in AD.
· Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and so on.
· Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, VPN solutions and Email Gateway solutions.
IT Infrastructure Governance & Security
· Manage the crisis of system outages and security attacks. Be the point of contact for any vendor's communication pertaining to outages or security incidents.
· Participate and provide support together with global/regional IT teams to execute IT projects.
· Manage vendor scope of work (onsite or offsite) and oversee the completion of IT projects.
· Maintain and perform regular checks on IT network and system infrastructure. Provide evidence to Internal Audit if requested.
· Maintain and perform regular checks on PC/laptop asset inventory list, making sure the lists are up-to-date and accurate.
REQUIREMENTS
· Minimally 5 years of relevant experience in global IT infrastructure.
· Understanding of incident/problem management and ITIL environment.
· Expertise in Network (equivalent CCNP certified level, LAN / WAN) and AD/AAD Administrator
· Good experience of IT infrastructure, server, network and cloud and IT operation.
· Good knowledge of data centre architecture and infrastructure.
· Strong experience of project management, vendor management and change management.
· Demonstrate robust problem-solving skills and experience in critical infrastructure solutions.
· Experience with systems would be advantageous: Designed and developed, managed the SD-WAN, Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) / Meraki (Switch / Firewall/ AP), Fortinet (FW), AD/AAD, Sophos Endpoint and Email Protection, Azure, Intune, Microsoft 365.
· Familiar with global environments and able to collaborate with stakeholders across different regions.
