Summary of Job
This position responsible for the organization’s overall IT infrastructure, operational management, and related projects that supports in daily operations. Models and acts in accordance with organisation’s guiding principles.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Ensure that all IT Infrastructures, operations, and security services operate smoothly without interruption
• Deal with Tier 2/3 problem-solving in a timely efficient manner
• Availability for 24x7 standby on critical issues/incidents
• Maintain and administer IT Infrastructure Systems/Network, Cyber Security Services, clouds, and other off premises hosted environments.
• Improvise overall IT Infrastructure's services management, ensuring proactive monitoring & action plan are taken and implemented accordingly.
• Maintain IT Infrastructure Systems/Network inventory & lifecycle.
• Review and ensure Network/Systems is compliant with IT Security, including firewall management, vulnerability assessment, firmware upgrade, and etc.
• Involve in IT technical projects such as tech refresh and software upgrades.
• Plan and procure hardware and software including renewal of licenses.
• Create and maintain IT/policy documentation, including in-depth data flow documentations.
• Third level end user support in IT related matters
• Collaboration with other technical service teams to manage, maintain, and resolve complex IT services. For Critical or more complex issues, participates in collaboration with peers to resolve cross-domain infrastructure issues
• Perform server performance tuning, including monitoring servers and taking corrective action to maximize server uptime, including disk drive capacity within defined limits, network connectivity, virtualization, process monitoring, and control, memory utilization, performance, and hardware/software monitoring.
• Provide server security with respect to implementing security measures and designs to protect individual server hosts from unauthorized access.
• Handle audit requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in a System/Network/IT Security role
• Able to handle
o Windows and Linux Server environment
o VMWare/server virtualization environments, VMware hosts, clusters, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T networking & security
o cloud technology, particularly Microsoft 365, MS Azure, Google Cloud and/or AWS
o Antivirus, patch management, vulnerability assessment and management.
o Microsoft System Administration, including active directory, Azure AD, DNS, and etc.
o LAN,WAN,VLAN,SDWAN design, implementation, and operation is an added advantage
• Infrastructure IT services management in SLA management, proactive monitoring, mitigation action plans, preventive plan, change management, and other IT governance and processes.
• Self-motivated and balancing multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to carry out work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience in managing and implementing security configuration.
