Havas Singapore is looking for a Freelance Finance Executive to support the day-to-day management of Finance operations across business units. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts Payable functions.
• Ensure vendor invoices, staff claims, and intercompany invoices are validated, and recorded timely, and accurately in the system.
• Processing staff expense reimbursements and payments on time.
• Ensure that payments are recorded timely and accurate.
• Update of daily cash book and cash tracker.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Registers.
• Reconciliation of vendor’s statements of accounts and AP aging.
• Ensure timely closing of Accounts Payable and all documents and schedules are properly maintained.
• Respond and follow up with vendors and employees on payment-related inquiries.
• Reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.
• Provide support in the annual audit process.
• Assist with the vendor set-up process.
• Responsible for staff training on Accounts Payable processes.
• Identify and review the work process and changes within the scope of work.
• Assist in other tasks/ projects when assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the service/ professional industry.
• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent

Job Description:

• Handle full sets of accounts for clients and prepare monthly financial reporting.
• Provide professional client service and ensure reporting timelines are met.
• Prepare/Review month-end payments and online banking transactions.
• Prepare/Review GST report and filing.
• Audit liaison and drafting of financial statements.
• Preparation of XBRL submission
• Compute monthly payroll and year-end remuneration returns (e.g.:Form IR8A)
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Note: Senior Executive role includes coaching, guiding and review Executive & Assistant’s work

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
