The Head of Internal Control is responsible for the overall aspects and activities of the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), operational process, control evaluations, and to drive business process improvements with the objective to ensure Financial Statements’ accuracy, SOX and other relevant regulatory compliance, and to promote effective and efficiency operations.

• Performs analytical review of business process & controls to identify the potential risk, control deficiencies or new initiatives for continuous improvements.
• Suggest and define recommendations to drive improvements in business process and controls, including driving initiatives related to automating controls that are manual in nature to save costs and improve transaction processing in term of speed.
• Coordinate and potentially lead the work relating to remediation of audit deficiencies, to collaborate with other operations and technology team.
• Conducts regular internal testing controls and review to ensure the compliance to the SOX standards.
• Coordinate and oversee the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) activities related to internal controls documentation and testing and segregation of duties for the overall cycles (e.g., Revenue to Receivables, Marketing activities, Purchase to Pay, Treasury, Taxation, Investment, Financial Statement Closing Process, etc.).
• Ensure the SOX documentations, i.e., Flow Chart, narrative and Risk Control Matrix are up to date.
• Identify and conduct specific training and development needs to fill compliance gaps related to the internal controls to bring the company, a department, or particular employees up to speed on compliance standards.
• Coordinate and lead the implementation of the agreed upon recommendations, related to the area of responsibility, resulting from the audit findings, both internal and external.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in progressive accounting experiences with combination of being an accountant, auditor, internal control, and operations management experiences.
• Public accounting experience (Big 4) is required.
• 7+ years of experiences and knowledges of internal control Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) guidelines, compliances, and processes.
• Demonstrate a broad and good knowledge on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), IFRS and local accounting standard (as required).

You are required to plan and execute IT Applications control audit, Process and Governance audits of systems. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our “Strategic Initiatives” team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building the next-generation global payment network, contributing to Visa's transformation.

Primary Responsibilities:

System Design and Development:

• Design, document, and implement new systems, enhancements, and modifications to existing software, ensuring alignment with design specifications, security standards, and Java best practices.

• Develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant web-based applications.

Stakeholder Interaction:

• Engage with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and services that meet business requirements using the latest tools and technologies.

• Present technical solutions, capabilities, and considerations in business terms.

Code Quality and Delivery:

• Deliver zero-defect code and ensure the team's deliverables meet or exceed business expectations.

• Contribute to and evolve a highly efficient development process pipeline by leveraging best-in-class CI/CD tools.

Innovation and Best Practices:

• Identify opportunities for product innovation and improvements to best practices, standards, and processes.

Mentorship and Collaboration:

• Mentor junior developers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality code.

• Collaborate with Technical Product Managers to break down solutions into smaller achievable tasks.

Documentation and Support:

• Develop backend databases and queries, create and consume APIs, and handle front-end UI development.

• Manage backend operations and batch jobs to maintain data integrity.

• Support test engineers and operations teams in troubleshooting, defect research, and issue root cause analysis.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

• Prepare and submit Method Statements, quality records, test results, material submissions, and concrete design mixes for client approval.
• Maintain the Project Quality Plan, Management Plan, and other quality records, and organize testing activities as needed.
• Compile all test reports for submission to the authorities via transmittal.
• Update the monthly progress report on quality matters for submission to the authorities.
• Assist with both external and internal quality audits on-site.
