The Fundraising & Partnership Lead plays a crucial role in planning, executing, and overseeing fundraising campaigns and partnership management for the Disabled People’s Association (DPA). This role serves as the bridge between donors, partners, and DPA, developing and implementing strategies to secure funds, manage donor relationships, and ensure effective donation management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive fundraising activities for DPA.
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies, structures, and processes.
- Plan, organise, and execute fundraising events and campaigns to meet assigned fundraising targets (minimum $300,000 - $400,000).
- Conduct research, data mining, and analysis of potential donors.
- Enhance donor engagement by identifying, cultivating, and building relationships with current and prospective partners, sponsors, and donors.
- Oversee donor acquisition, appreciation, reporting, and retention.
- Foster community and corporate partnerships aimed at fundraising, outreach, and collaboration.
- Research partnership and fundraising trends to maintain a competitive market edge and monitor digital developments.
- Track and report the progress of partnership and fundraising efforts to DPA management, adjusting strategies as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience and a successful track record in fundraising.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in common IT applications (Microsoft 365), websites, and social media-related applications.
- Independent, analytical, and creative, with attention to detail.
- Proactive, resourceful, and hands-on approach with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of event management is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Studies in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent (other relevant qualifications will be considered).
