To this end, we will engineer an advanced version of our JeWells platform [1] which allows the growth of thousands of organoids in parallel while maintaining full access for standard and advanced microscopies. The effects of mechanical unloading will be tested on different biological models by subjecting them to conditions of hypo- and hyper-gravity. We will make use of simulation tools (with e.g. a Random Positioning Machine, RPM), and 0-g parabolic flight conditions; these experiences will also give the necessary feedback to prepare our set-up in compliance with the experimental conditions and policies required to apply for access to the International Space Station (ISS).

The idea will be to combining imperfect data from models, from observations distributed in time and space, exploiting any relevant physical constraints, to produce a more accurate and comprehensive picture of the system as it evolves in time.

State estimation methods of electrical distribution system, especially micro-grids with RES generation and EV charging will be considered. Physical models as well as AI models will be developed based on an existing micro-grid in Singapore from our partner EDF Lab Singapore.

Job Description

The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Science. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -

• Work closely with Programme Director and Dean's Office to take charge of the end-to-end administration of the postgraduate research-based PhD and MSc programmes throughout the student lifecycle, including student admission, handling student enquiries, student module registration, managing programme website, etc.
• Collaborate with the Programme Director and Dean's Office to manage the programmes' admission cycles to upkeep the programmes' quality.
• Manage the administration of the programmes' examinations, including PhD Qualifying Examinations and PhD/MSc thesis examinations.
• Monitor students' progress under the Graduate Assistance Programme (GAP) and Thesis Advisory Committees (TAC).
• For Assistant Manager level: Applicant at this level would be expected to oversee the portfolio both strategically as well as operationally with minimal supervision.
• Provide other administrative support to the Department as deemed necessary.

• Academic qualification: Masters/Bachelor degree from a recognized University, preferably in Sciences.
