Key Responsibilities: 

Design and Development:

• Lead the design and development of electronic boards tailored to project requirements.

• Develop schematics, layout PCBs, and produce prototype boards for testing.

Microcontroller Programming:

• Write, test, and debug code for various microcontrollers, particularly STM32, Arduino, and similar platforms.

• Integrate software with hardware designs to create seamless electronic systems.

Machine Learning (Desirable, Optional):

• Apply machine learning techniques in embedded systems as required.

• Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning experts to optimize algorithms for integration into hardware platforms.

Testing:

• Carry out functional testing on prototypes to ensure designs meet project requirements.

Job Requirements: 

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is a new interdisciplinary school at NTU, inaugurated in August 2022. The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• The RA will work on a project to conduct the research on the production of self-healing cement additive and its applications.

• The RA should have previous experience in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX).

• Additional experience in rheology and 3D concrete printing would be preferable, but not required.

[What you will be working on]

You will work closely with colleagues in EDB (e.g. Industry Groups, Industry Manpower  Division) and officers from other government agencies. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Understanding the energy supply chain and potential disruptions. 

• Developing the energy supply and distribution operational plans and pandemic preparedness plans. 

• Liaising with other government agencies and key industry partners to improve the energy supply chain resilience. 

• Supporting the management of additional resources appointed by EDB to audit and inspect EDB managed worksites. 

In addition, you will be involved in other Energy & Chemical (E&C) Industry Development work. You will work closely with internal teams in EDB, other government agencies, trade associations and companies. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Drive the industry development programs to ensure Singapore remains competitive for the E&C sector.

To meet the challenges of the role, you will have to:
