ob Responsibilities

• Track all cheques received and prepare deposit to bank
• Download payment advice of insurance claims from various Insurance company’s portals
• Match Insurance claim payment advice to bank & invoices, and prepare receipting posting template to apply & post to Accounts Receivable Ledger
• Download payment advice from CHAS’s or Medisave’s portals to apply & post receipts to Accounts Receivable ledger
• Liaise with customers for payment details
• Match cheques/Giro payments to invoices to apply & post payment to corporate customer ledger on a weekly basis.
• Timely and accurate monthly closing of Accounts Receivable system.

Job Requirements

• CAT/LCCI Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in full spectrum of Accounts Receivable function.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and high transactions volume environment
• Responsible and reliable with strong problem-solving skill to get thing done.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic and determination to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel. Must has working knowledge of ERP accounting systems such as Microsoft Navision, SAP, Oracles, etc

Key responsibilities:

1. POL Agent Management:

• Collaborate with POL agents to facilitate container bookings and maximize vessel utilization.
• Monitor agent performance and resolve any issues related to booking and operational efficiency.

2. Capacity Management:

• Analyze booking trends and forecasts to ensure optimal vessel capacity.
• Communicate with operations to adjust schedules based on capacity needs.

3. Weekly Service Performance Reporting:

• Prepare and distribute weekly service performance reports, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
• Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for service enhancement.

4. Operational Follow-up:

• Track ongoing service operation matters and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address any operational challenges affecting service delivery.
• Work closely with Port of Loading (POL), Port of Discharge (POD), Direct Freight (DF), and Operations teams on ongoing service operations.

5. Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all shipping documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, service performance, and agent communications.

6. Financial Oversight:

• Compile Profit and Loss (P&L) statements once vessels depart from the last port to the Trade department.
• Maintain up-to-date P&L and follow up on any invoice discrepancies with overseas offices until resolved, providing updates to the marketing/trade team.

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Participate in regular meetings with teams to discuss performance, capacity issues, and customer feedback.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor the day-to-day manpower schedule and the operations of the respective sites
• Conduct OJT training for new hires and conduct refresher on SOP
• Handle workplace investigation, grievance, and discipline
• Plan and schedule training for security personnel in alignment with PWM requirement
• Prepare weekly reports & weekly meeting minutes.
• Lead and handle a team of Patrol Officers & Control Room Operators
• Report to Operations Manager / Director
• Other ad hoc requirements by the company

Job Requirements:

• PWM SS Rank & above
• Min 2 years of working experience in the security industry
• Class 3 Licence
• Own vehicle preferred
• Flexible and able to handle stress
• Good interpersonal & communication skill
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
