Job Description:
As the IT Manager at Novosys, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and operations to support our business objectives, enhance productivity, and ensure the security and reliability of our IT environment. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT strategies, projects, and initiatives that align with our company's goals and objectives. Your leadership, technical expertise, and strategic vision will play a key role in driving innovation, digital transformation, and operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's overall business objectives, ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards, and promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Plan, budget, and oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and software applications to meet the current and future needs of the organization, ensure scalability, reliability, and security, and minimize downtime and disruptions.
· Evaluate, recommend, and procure hardware, software, and IT services/vendors based on business requirements, technical specifications, cost-effectiveness, and quality, and manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
· Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and documentation, including IT security policies, disaster recovery plans, data backup procedures, and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and ensure adherence to internal controls and governance frameworks.
· Monitor, analyze, and report on key IT performance indicators, metrics, and trends, identify areas for improvement and optimization, and implement measures to enhance IT operations, efficiency, and service delivery.
· Implement and manage IT security measures, controls, and protocols to protect the company's data, systems, and networks from cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).
· Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and end-users, on IT-related matters, issues, and initiatives, and facilitate training and knowledge sharing to enhance IT literacy and competency.
· Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT management, cybersecurity, and digital innovation, and proactively recommend innovative solutions and strategies to support business growth and competitiveness.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP) is desirable.
· Proven experience in IT management, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in leading and managing IT teams and overseeing IT infrastructure, systems, and operations, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
· Strong technical background and expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, network management, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and IT project management, with proficiency in industry-leading technologies, tools, and platforms.
· Solid understanding of IT governance frameworks, standards, and best practices, and experience in developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, build relationships, influence decision-making, and drive change and innovation.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues, evaluate alternative solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure to resolve problems and deliver results.
