Kosmode Health is a deep-tech spin-off from Food Science & Technology Department, at National University of Singapore. Driven by a mission to expand access to health from nature, Kosmode Health enables repurposing of food processing wastes for human nutrition; as demonstrated by repurposing of Barley Spent Grains, a by-product of beer and malt production, into W0W®noodle.
Having demonstrated the feasibility of repurposing Barley Spent Grains, into W0W®noodle -the world’s only functional food clinically proven to have 0 Glycemic Response (i.e. 0 blood sugar response), Kosmode Health continues to set the standard in Sustainable Functional Food by repurposing other Food Processing Wastes into variety of functional food for human nutrition. B. OVERALL JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES Role & Responsibilities
The successful applicant supports the Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of business development & marketing activities. In addition to development & implementation of online & offline marketing programs, the successful candidate will be involved in planning & execution of new product launches.
This position requires a deep passion in creating market impact with the science & technology Kosmode developed. The ideal candidate should therefore have a science foundation with a creative flair to create layman friendly content and blogs; and develops online and offline marketing campaigns and activities
Specific tasks include:
• Generate & develop leads for Business Development
• Acquire, keep, grow subscribers and customer base through good subscribers/customers management, engagement and communication.
• Participate in business development activities & customer relations management
• Conduct Market and competitors’ intelligence research
• Develop marketing decks, videos and marketing collaterals for corporate & product branding and awareness
• Craft, implement online & offline marketing campaigns to drive market share and the sale of W0W® noodles
• Organize both online and offline marketing events
• Monitor and track progress of events/campaigns using various metrics and report event ROI based on key objectives and metrics.
• Support development of branding & marcom strategies
• Manage and update corporate & W0W® noodle websites
• Prepare/edit video for social media post
• Design and develop corporate and product collateral that is consistent with corporate and brand positioning
• Design product packaging
• Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
C. DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE Academic Qualifications & Experience
• Final year diploma student in Business Administration/ marketing, or equivalent, Mass Communication, New Media.
• Relevant knowledge in biology and chemistry is a strong advantage
Skills and Experience
• Excellent communicator, skilled in written and verbal communication.
• Experience in basic data analytics.
• Social Media Marketing skills (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) and up-to-date with trends in social media use.
• Strong research and writing skills; explore creating social media contents and writing of blogs, from research articles and publications.
• Ability to create engaging, impactful marketing collaterals and social media posts.
• Graphic design, photography, programming skills and video editing/creation are strong advantages
• Self-driven resourceful individual with demonstrated ability to work within resource constrain
