Duties and Responsibilities – Online & Digital Marketing Executive
(Advertising, Promotion & Online)
Basically, your duties as Online & Digital Marketing Executive are as follows:
Online Store
1. Devise and implement online store business plan and strategies to achieve the sales and profit targets of the company.
2. Plan, organize and execute promotions and events for online store by liaising with the MD department and Advertising & Promotion team to enhance online store sales.
3. Conduct and execute the operational jobs smoothly and to ensure that all job schedules are met. e.g., photo-shoot, size-measuring of products, checking the scripts provided by MD departments, and provide appropriate response to customer enquiries etc.,
4. Provide support for the system development to enhance customers’ online shopping experience and efficient backend operation by liaising with the system vendors and our IS team.
5. Prepare and analyze online store sales reports: budget reports and any other records or forecast required by the company.
6. Negotiate with system vendors or suppliers for competitive prices. To monitor their work.
7. Conduct market surveys, research trade information and analyze competitors’ online store strategies.
8. Any other job-related duties as and when assigned by the company.
Digital Marketing
9. Plan, and execution of digital marketing activities to promote customer traffic and purchase.
10. Plan and execute digital marketing campaign/s for promotions and events by liaising with Advertising and Promotion Department. To prepare production and media schedules, budget costing for production campaigns.
11. Prepare digital marketing materials, including company home page and digital signage.
12. Achieve the KPI for respective digital marketing activities and to monitor work progress. Analyze the results and make improvement plans by liaising with merchandising departments.
13. Support the merchandising departments in the creation of effective digital marketing campaigns; to ensure that all departments strictly adhere to company’s digital marketing template.
14. Work closely with the merchandising departments on the selection of appropriate products / merchandise for advertisements.
15. Assist in providing direction to Design House / suppliers / in-house designer for execution of digital marketing jobs.
16. Assist in the vetting and supervising all artworks, including suppliers’ advertisement run and marketing collaterals to ensure accuracy of color / information and that supplier adheres to company’s template.
17. Prepare and maintain social media accounts; e.g. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc.
18. Provide appropriate response to customers’ enquiries via the social media.
19. Co-ordinate with appointed photographer on the selection of models or influencers, hairstylist, make-up artist and fashion stylist to project the right image.
20. Assist with the art direction and supervision for photo-shoot and filming.
21. Negotiate with suppliers for each project based on given budget.
22. Verify suppliers’ quotations and invoices. To ensure on-time payment to suppliers.
23. To check with the merchandising departments for any tie-up advertisements.
24. Explore the right media for store promotions and events with given budget.
25. Conduct market surveys, research trade information and analyze competitors’ digital marketing.
26. Any other job-related duties as and when assigned by the company.
