Responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to enhance digital awareness and engagement of the museum and its offerings and help scale the museum towards mass-personalisation marketing.
• Manage the National Museum of Singapore, Changi Chapel and Museum as well as Reflections at Bukit Chandu websites, overseeing the design and development of any other new system requirements that may affect the websites, particularly integration of CMS (Sitecore) and CRM systems.

Requirements

You will represent Ciena, communicate key marketing messages and facilitate the execution of these events. On-site attendance of the event will be required. You will work on various events with many different stakeholders from Sales, Marketing and Corporate executives to deliver an exceptional experience for our internal and external customers, in line with our corporate and regional objectives and company values.

Overall Responsibilities

• Support the Global Event Marketing strategy through the management and execution of event logistics including, but not limited to; event evaluation, reviewing sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, managing and tracking event schedules and the management or updating of event management systems and communication channels and participating in and helping to manage pre-event planning calls

• Continually monitor technology trade show industry, evaluate and recommend potential trade show opportunities based on the corporate, marketing and sales objectives

Areas of impact

• Provide continual evaluation of event programs, including post-event evaluations, ensuring measurable tracking methods are followed, reporting ROI and identification and implementation of any new best practices into all aspects of event planning process, execution and review
• Analyze event, industry and competitive data to drive strategic recommendations and improve effectiveness and efficiency of events
• Document and continuously improve all event related processes
• Create pre-show and post-show reports for each show outlining ROI and feedback for general reporting and evaluation

Experience

Role Purpose
This role will manage Maplecroft’s existing and growing business in Oceania and will be responsible for retaining and growing client revenue and relationships primarily in Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.

Role Focus

The role will focus on retaining and growing clients through a variety of mechanisms, e.g. in-person, phone and web based solutions.  The successful candidate will also ultimately be expected to recognise upsell and cross selling opportunities within these accounts from both a research and consulting perspective and work with the wider Sales & Marketing team to realise these opportunities.  The position will be based in Singapore with regular quarterly travel (~15%) to Oceania.

Main Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain sales while maximising profitability of Maplecroft’s offerings by successfully managing an extensive client portfolio;
• Develop strategy to assure client retention and revenue growth;
• Taking ownership of client engagement and ensuring the client interactions are coordinated across sales and marketing, client services, research and consulting to develop more scalable engagement techniques with these clients e.g. online training and one-to-many initiatives;
• Provide feedback on established products and services to relevant internal departments;

[What you will be working on]

Marketing

As our marketing specialist for Japan and Southeast Asia (SEA), you will work as part of the team, with EDB’s International Operations, PR manager and appointed marketing agencies, to drive and execute an integrated marketing strategy to raise awareness of Singapore and generate and nurture leads amongst the business communities in Japan and SEA.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop the GTM plan for Japan and SEA based on understanding of EDB’s business and marketing objectives, including annual planning and management of budget for the execution of marketing work plans 

• Manage the day-to-day operations and reporting of in-market marketing initiatives, including paid media campaigns, events and other ATL and BTL initiatives

• Undertake content curation, layout and production of EDB’s in-market publications and website. This includes the identification of topics of interest or trending topics among target audience, and optimisation of workflows with vendors for content production and website maintenance

• Planning and management of physical, virtual or hybrid events organised by EDB

• Identify and coordinate with key multiplier organisations (including tax consultancies, inter-governmental and trade organisations) on joint-marketing initiatives to seed our key messages and generate leads

• Manage internal and relevant external stakeholders. This includes EDB’s appointed marketing agencies on the development and execution of EDB’s marketing strategy, and servicing business enquiries from new clients by sharing relevant marketing resources

• Support product owner of Event Management System GevMe to set up platform and train new EDB users

• Depending on the candidate’s interests and experience, there are opportunities to also develop our marketing strategy and campaigns for global sectors like tech founders and other geographies.

[What we are looking for]

To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be: 

• A university degree in any discipline

• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience. Candidates should have proven track record working in similar capacity, preferably with experience with the Japan market

• Results-oriented, with high level of initiative, drive and resourcefulness

• Fast and independent learner who can learn on-the-job and deliver quality work with limited supervision

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate well with different stakeholders

• Able to manage multiple projects while keeping to deadlines
