JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is part of Defence Collective Singapore’s (DCS) Sales department and will be responsible for DCS’s sales goals. The jobholder will plan, execute, and manage the sales of educational and corporate programmes, events, including but not limited to, pricing, day-to-day sales operations and working with internal departments to meet specifics requirements catered for each event. Successful candidate will report to Sales Team Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain long term business relationships with external stakeholders by providing consistent sales service, follow up on enquiries and rapport building.
• Liaising and maintaining a close network of School Teachers to market DCS’s National Education (NE) related Programmes and events.
• Assist schools in planning cost effective NE calendar and students’ Learning Journeys.
• Ownership of entire sales process including programmes booking, confirmation, billing and elicit post visit feedback.
• Assist / oversee / participate in sales outreach events, trade & road shows and activities on need basis;
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop highly engaging education programmes, staff retreat and events.

• Provide accurate proposal to all sales enquiries in a timely manner.
• Identify potential sales channels to develop strategies for new business opportunities and achievement of sales targets.
• Coordinate, conduct visits and events enquiries visit with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth handover of events execution.
• Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports; and
• Update sales productivity system and review action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
• Responsible to manage and monitor work process from the initial account acquisition process to completion.
• Prepare weekly Sales Projection report for management review.
• Other duties as directed and required

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree (any discipline)
• Candidate (s) with School Sales/ Corporate Sales experience preferred.
• Candidate must be customer-centric and highly effective in handling call-in/email enquires;
• Positive personality and can-do attitude;
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills;
• Commercially aware, self-motivated and proactive;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge in GeBIZ, Odoo, Tender Board will be an added advantage but not mandatory;
• Professional bearing and good command of spoken and written English;
• Great passion in the Singapore Story will be advantageous; and
• Team player.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drive sales and provide excellent customer service
2. Manage customer accounts
3. Build and maintain good customer relationships through regular and effective communications
4. Handle customers’ enquires and propose solutions that meet their requirements
5. Work with various departments to respond to customers’ technical queries
6. Review customer’s quotation requirements against company’s resources and capabilities
7. Follow-up with customers on quotations submitted to secure orders
8. Perform contract review to ensure requirements match quotation’s terms of supply and ensure documents/information are sufficient for production and delivery
9. Plan and execute sales strategies
10. Conduct presentations and customer visits
11. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly Sales statistics and reports
12. Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Hard Skills:

· Understands BOM and Drawings

· Proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

· Prior experience with ERP systems preferred

• Soft Skills:

· Excellent presentation skill

· Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills

· Meticulous with attention to details.

· Motivated, goal oriented and able to work independently within a team environment.

· High level of initiative – can-do spirit, collaboration, continuous improvement

· High adaptability to dynamic environment

Job Summary:

· Salary: Up to $5000

· Working Days and Hours: 5 days - Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm

· Location of work: 1 North Bridge Road, High Street Centre

· Benefit: Commission

Job Responsibilities:

- Visiting Shipyards, Ship Owners in order to get more details on the new ship build projects

- Need to build goods relationship with our Companies & Yards in order to join the tenders’ technical issues & communication with our customers

- Prepare our Quotation upon receive any enquiry from our Customer, and need to conduct discussion with our Customers for the Projects

The Responsibilities:

Sales

• Achieve sales budget for assigned territory
