You would most probably be a customer of our client. They play an important role in Singapores public transport system by being the middleman between you, the commuter, and all the other parts that help to make it world class.
Responsibilities:
An independent, resourceful and dynamic self-starter strong in writing and can communicate effectively across all internal and external platforms.
Key responsibilities of this role include drafting replies to MP letters or customers feedback, managing walk-in customers (where required), evaluating requests from internal and external stakeholders, coming up with and reviewing external communications materials for both internal and external stakeholders, managing media events, daily media monitoring and analysis, media relations (media pitching, forum replies, media queries and others) and crisis communications.
You are also required to provide editorial support for publicity collaterals, corporate materials and advertisements, amongst others. You will help to revise and propose content for the corporate website where required. Where relevant, you are required to support marketing campaigns or events and measure campaign performance.
You will also support the consolidation of monthly returns of the department for reporting purposes and other duties when assigned.
Requirements
A good degree in Mass Communications, Marketing or any related discipline
Minimum five years experience in corporate communications, public relations and related fields.
Strong interpersonal, written communication and presentation skills and can articulate views clearly across all levels with internal and external counterparts
Service-oriented and can manage difficult customers
Strong analytical skills, a problem solver, and can thrive in ambiguity
Strong writing skills in creating content for multiple uses.
A team player who is resourceful, meticulous and able to multitask.
Being effectively bilingual will be a plus.
Good awareness of current affairs and interest in public transport issues
Having established relations with journalists will be advantageous.
Knowledge of performance marketing and software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc will be a plus but not mandatory.
