Overview

The business development executive will be responsible for growing the business in Singapore and other Asian markets. This involves not only the sales process but also marketing and partnership-building, though online methods, speaking opportunities, and agreements with other training providers. The business development executive will identify clients’ needs and create training programs that address those needs, and that ideally can be used as the foundation of programs for other clients. This individual is expected to grow the business by identifying new clients and new revenue streams beyond current operations. Category Insights & Review:

a. Analyse and identify category issues, opportunities, or challenges in different channels with recommendations from customers’ data, retail audit, shopper research, market analysis and any data available.

b. Regularly review category and channel dynamics including portfolio range, distribution, merchandising, pricing, and promotions.

c. Work with Sales on customers’ and distributors’ annual business review and analysis.

Channel & Shopper Activation:

a. Develop and own the trade marketing plan and toolkits such as planogram guidelines, in trade campaign briefs and product trade launches.

b. Work with Sales & Marketing to develop, plan and implement product & campaign launches with channel activities including customised promotions, cross channel brand collaboration and chef ideation or recipes creations.

c. Work with distributor to manage E-Commerce flagship stores including planning and execution of E-Commerce marketing programs.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business, Marketing or related disciplines
• At least 4 to 6 years of working experience in Trade Marketing, preferably 2 years

About the Team:

About the Role

Location: Singapore

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and researching prospective Cloudflare accounts, conducting outreach to the appropriate contacts within each account, sourcing meetings, and running discovery calls using sales qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT and CHIIP).

You will be paired with Mid-Market Account Executives who will work to close opportunities that you source for them. You will also work with a variety of cross functional teams including product marketing, field marketing and sales enablement.

While there are activity benchmarks that lead to successful BDRs, this is an autonomous role that gives you the opportunity to be creative and proactive with your outbounding strategies. Reports

• Keep close tab on marketing expenditure for above-the-line & below-the-line, aligning spend with budget.
• Take charge of furnishing marketing expenditure reports for management references every quarter.
