• Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
• Monitor and control outcomes to resolve issues, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
• Coordinate with all internal departments and vendors to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
• Certify subcon/vendor payment claim (certify payment requisition in HelloSign).
• Ensure timely project delivery at high quality standard and to client’s expectation.
• Work closely with QS on VO summary update, ensuring PMI/PO are received prior to commencing all additional works. Close out project VO with client upon project completion.
• Inform QS team upon achieving key project milestones for progress claim submission/ billing.
• Prepare project close-out report and organise internal project close-out discussion to identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities.

• Collaborating with engineers, architects, designers and subcontractors to determine the specifications of the project
• Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
• Manage/monitor all construction works performed and ensure a clear communication line with client, outlining any challenges and providing progress updates.
• Review all contracts to ensure compliance is maintained.
• Encourage team building and ensure a positive working environment for all staff.
• Review work processes and look for improvements where needed.
• Conduct regular planned meetings updating project staff and providing reports for Senior Management.
• Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes

Skills & Requirements: -

• Previous experience gained in a Project Management position within the Civils’ sector (related to HDB, LTA authorities)
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Min 8 years of experience in project management within construction
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction, building and civil processes.
• Site based experience with managing projects and delivering positive outcomes.
• Excellent analytical skills – ability to process a variety of information, evaluate costs and benefits and solve complex problems.
• Effectively use MS Suite of programs including MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
• High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
• well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results

Job Description & Requirements

· Plan, execute, monitor and control project as per contractual requirements.

· Liaison with the User, consultants & Authorities on project matters.

· Ensure smooth implementation of work progress so project can be completed on time, within budget and meet contractual & safety standards.

· Manage suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure compliance in terms of QEHS, schedule and cost.

· Monitor construction productivity and provide recommendations for improvement to works.

· Preparation of site progress report and necessary documentation.

· Ensure that all project documentation including emails exchanges are maintained properly.

· Report to top management periodically on status/progress of the project.

· Any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

- Degree in Building or Civil Engineering (recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore).

- Minimum 8 Years Experience in similar capacity.

- Able to work independently and lead project team.

- Proficient in Microsoft Project and other Microsoft office software.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform job tender on behalf of the Company.

2. Compute projects’ costing and ensure they are within the budget.

3. Work closely with team leader to ensure project progress according to schedule.

4. Attend site meetings to have an overview of the projects involved.

5. Oversea multiple projects at each stage of its development.

6. Ensure each stage of the projects’ progress are aligned with the schedule.

7. Submit daily report of the projects’ status to customers.

8. Build and strengthen customers’ relations.

9. Must have relevant project managing experience.
