We are now looking for a General Manager, Wärtsilä Energy Marketing & Communications, Middle East and Asia. This opportunity is a 3-month fixed term assignment, and it’s location is Singapore.

Responsibilities

• In this role you will lead the Wärtsilä Energy’s Middle East and Asia (MEA) marketing and communications activities and act as leader for the area marketing & communications team.

Requirements:

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or other relevant field of study.

• 5+ years working experience in international B2B marketing and communications within the Energy sector, more specifically the engine power plant solutions and services industry.

• A successful track record of leading a marketing & communications team within a global corporation in the Energy sector.

• A proven understanding of the following energy sector topics:

o The energy transition and energy markets in Middle East and Asia.

o Designing and building flexible power systems to enable renewable energy ramp up.
