Your role

We are urgently looking for Supply Chain Commercial Specialist who will develop sourcing strategies and tactics based on a deep understanding of the current situation of the business, the business strategy and drivers, the local supplier market and global strategies. The commercial lead enables stakeholders in the Supply Chain to understand the intent of contracts, optimise the use of contracts, manage Contract(or)s for performance and remove waste.

This role provides the candidate opportunity to manage and lead the execution of the complete Category Management & Contracting Process (CMCP) including Contract Strategy, Tactics and Contract Management activities in the area of third-party services, e.g., catalyst handling/recovery, toxic waste management, and support other key services contracts in engineering, maintenances and services (EMS), Turn Arounds (TA) within Jurong Island.

More specifically, your role will include:

• Designing and improving with business partners the assigned supply chains, starting with inhouse/outsource choices and (re)designs, the contracting strategy and commercial tactics and post award contract management.
• Building and maintaining strong network in the market, being fully aware of supplier developments and opportunities coming up in the market.
