The Associate / Research Coordinator shall assist the Principal Investigator with collection of clinical data and data management for lymphoma research. They will also help implement and coordinate research projects and its activities. These activities may include screening, recruitment, incident event reporting, data entry, biological specimen collection and processing, maintenance of site files and research participants’ follow up.

Your responsibilites will include:

The Laboratory of Applied Human Genetics at the National Cancer Centre Singapore is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with specific focus on peritoneal malignancies and sarcoma. The direction of our laboratory is to solve real world clinical problems via sound scientific translation. Since the conception of our laboratory 7 years ago, we have now set up three scientific pillars of Therapeutics, Companion Diagnostic and CAPTIVATE (Target Generation) pipeline. Currently, we are working towards a first-in-human therapeutic developed in our laboratory. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow to work with a team of researchers in the area of cancer therapy for advanced metastatic cancers. Interested applicants should have an extensive molecular biology experience to uncover the MOA/structure of our therapeutic using cellular signaling, cell biology or protein structure approaches and possess the desire to translate basic science to make a clinical impact. The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation and evaluation activities in SingHealth. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will support the work of the Population-based, Unified, Learning System for Enhanced and Sustainable Health (PULSES) Centre Grant as well as other signature research programmes in the centre. You will assist the Principal Investigators in developing grant proposals and study plans. You will conduct literature reviews and systematic reviews as well as assist with study design and planning. You are required to perform data analysis and ensure the accuracy in the data interpreted.

You will be involved in the preparation of abstracts/posters/manuscripts/reports. You will oversee the process and quality of the study execution and keep track of timelines and budget. You will also lead a team of junior research staff and provide technical supervision.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Social Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics or related academic area with at least 3 years’ experience in population health research
• Experience in health economics or implementation science will be an advantage
• Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Strong quantitative or qualitative research skills

Requirement

The SingHealth Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is the nexus for population health research, innovation, implementation science and evaluation in SingHealth. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will assist the Principal Investigator to perform a variety of functions such assisting in developing study plans and conducting literature reviews. You will be tasked to prepare Institutional Review Board applications as well as assist in subject recruitment, data collection and data management. You will assist with quality control and preparations for quality assurance. You will be required to liaise with study partners to ensure all study-related activities are carried out efficiently and coordinate project meetings. You will particpate in the preparation of abstracts, posters and manuscripts for dissemination of study results as well as reports as required by the funder.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive range of technical after-sales service support, installation, commissioning and repair plus preventive maintenance plans for laboratory/ hospital infrastructures or research/ analytical equipment in the medical imaging industry;
